Since I had some time to kill recently I decided to give D4 another go while at the same time checking what's up with the new season but naturally I need to play hardcore to make it a bit more entertaining. Where every fight can lead to death and a death means it's game over for that character.
At the same time I couldn't just go with the easy difficulty as that'd be "lame", so I started off with the higher difficulty which also gets you 75% extra experience and gold. This would be more fun I thought cause I'd level up faster, however, I noticed that in one of the towns you could increase that difficulty even further to give you 125% exp and then 175% or so, either way, I learn the hard way why doing so in hardcore may not be the best idea.
No mic in this gameplay, having some issues with my headset lately, whenever I try to switch to it my whole pc starts lagging and being weird until I restart, even affects my other sound sources but the headset and mic just won't turn on for some reason. Until I figure that out (uninstalling and re-installing all the drivers did nothing), I'll probably just be posting without commentary for some time forward.
Forfeiting part of the post rewards to @hivegc due autovotes and this being without commentary thus lower effort. Edit: forgot to set beneficiaries :'(
Hardbore Barb was my first experience with D4. Played it to around level 70 on the original launch patch when everything was so much slower. Mostly used Hammer of the Ancients. Amazing class.
Yeah it's got quite a lot of things with all those weapons, etc. I think I quit at lvl 40 something back then cause it really was too slow.
Diablo never caught onto me, not really my style of game. I like the idea of it, I used to play a little bit of Torchlight II, which felt kind of similar to this Diablo 4 gameplay.
long time dont play Diablo 4
Same, was fun for a bit, going to give another class another try here soon!
WHAT!? You can ride a horse in D4?
Haha pretty sure you've always been able to :D
Really? I mean Crusader had the horse in D3, but I don't feel like you could ride around in the first three besides that.
D4 is still on my want to play list... just started with dragon dogma 2, that will probably take a while.
Good luck, love that game!
Damn Diablo is awesome! I diid a format on the pc and haven't installes it again... well not yet.
I bet it's goung to look quite good on the new pc
That girl sure has the ABS. :P
some beautiful graphics. I especially like how the portals look. 😎😉👊

Lmao, this is peak Diablo energy-"more challenge = more fun" until you get deleted in one bad fight. I kinda love it. But yeah, I'd prob ragequit if that happened. That 175% exp boost sounds tempting, but I'd probably chicken out after the first close call.

Have you played Path of Exile 2? The skill scale is insanely good, I'm eager to start playing it, but I'm sure I'll get addicted, haha
Now this part of diablo played looks intense and intriguing, i played the mobile version and this beats it hands down
I remember Diablo 1 and Diablo 2, when I was still in school - and the many hours I could play without even going to the toilet... Not sure that I can still do that today. I played Diablo 3 as well, but it was not the same experience anymore.
