Been a while since I've had to upgrade phones and since my last one has become quite slow (in comparison to what it could be, not by the manufacturer on purpose when a new one is released like Apple does) I've been looking for a new one. With the recent pump in Hive price I figured it was a good time to let go of some for it. I don't usually turn crypto into fiat often, matter of fact the last two bull runs all I've bought have been a desktop pc, cheap laptop and now this phone. Since I also wanted to get a better camera for possible future photos I decided to look into which ones have a decent phone camera because I don't see myself walking around with an actual camera any time soon.
I bought a Samsung S22.
Now don't expect this post to be of me having taken any pictures of videos of it, because I haven't really yet, but the nerd in me did spend some time trying out the gaming aspect of it. :P Though I'm not a big mobile gamer I think there are some games that can be quite enjoyable sitting back or laying down and playing, the mobile version of league of legends is one I've enjoyed lately, although I mostly just do ARAM cause my favorite champion isn't on it for some reason (Vel'koz).
I did test it with some heavier requirement games as well, though, like call of duty and pubg mobile although I don't see myself gaming a lot of first person shooters on my phone cause holy shit the controls are annoying.
Here's some footage of me playing CoD, I'm surprised by how bad everyone is considering I know how bad I am.
As mentioned the game works pretty well on it, it's quite surprising what good phones can handle these days and how fast technology is evolving. Even while recording at 1080p and 60 fps it still worked as smooth as butter.
And yes, I was not exaggerating when I said everyone was just terrible:
Kind of made it very not so fun, dunno if most were bots the game shoots up to pretend they have an active playerbase or if some clickfarmers are farming something they plan on selling later but ugh.
I went then to play some Wild Rift instead, i.e. League of Legends mobile version:
Quite fun and lovely graphics, more importantly everyone was not just bots or terribad so it made it more interesting and challenging to play.
Let me know if you'd pay me to stop posting more mobile gameplay videos in the near future. :P
I'll try and post some photos from the new phone soon!
Sending half of the post rewards to @hivegc as this is quite a shitpost.
iPhone is much better, though I feel something is wrong while I write this.
For years, I have used Samsung starting with E250, S2, S4, S7 Edge, Note 8 and that's it. I kept complaining about some of the quirks both Android and Samsung had so I relented and got myself an iPhone 12, the best decision for a mobile phone for sure.

😂🤣😂.. Short and concise reply.
I played COD mobile for three years and I know how much of excellent performance it requires from phones. To enjoy the game well, you'll need a powerful phone.
The Samsung S22 is a very powerful phone that's capable of running COD and PUBG at really high frame rates and graphics quality.
And other than its core processor strength, it has superb camera that competes with Apple lineups.
Samsung also has really great User Interface (UI), and it is really intelligent and intuitive to use.
Lastly, the phone's display is incredible and impeccable. The AMOLED screen is beautiful. Viewing photos, videos, and playing video games look really good and smooth. It's simply amazing...
It is so good the way phones are now so much capable of delivering quality powerfully and efficiently.
Can't really go wrong with Samsung's flagships, especially this new one, which is a combination of the S and Note series. It will serve you really well for 2 years at least, whether it be gaming, photography or the usual social media browsing experience.
For the S22 Ultra photography is where it's really at I'd say. That telephoto lens combined with a fairly skilled set of hands in photography, ahh, you can expect some really well detailed pictures. Not sure about the front cam though, but it really doesn't matter much to me, not a fan of selfies lol.
Me neither lol, will have to test the camera soon, the zoom is scary good lol.
Huawei and Samsung's zoom/telephoto lenses are in a league of their own, really don't know how they pull it off. You can zoom in about 1 to 2 kilometers away and still have a well detailed picture quality.
Even if everyone else is bad, you're not bad at all. I can see it in your aim 😎.
How weird was your team in that last LOL mobile match. Four support and one adc 😂
lol
💪😉congrats! I also have a samsung and always just get the same model, but recent version. It's good to hold on to that HIVE as much as possible. that's a smart practice.
Here in hawaii locals say 'Pake' (pronounced Pa Kay), which actually means Chinese but refers to the stinginess and unwillingness to spend money at all. So it applies to u. :P (no matter what your ethnicity)
Oh, I feel you on this. I used to play Raid on my phone and it was always freezing and then I would have to restart it. Like several times a day.
This was last year and I had bought the s21 for a company phone. It was absolutely fantastic and I quit using my personal phone for the game because it made me mad.
Earlier this year my personal phone died and I bought the s21 ultra because they dropped the price from $1999 to $1100 because the s22 ultra had come out. It has a dual sim so now I use it for a company phone and a personal phone.
I was a little angry with myself for not changing phones earlier out of stubbornness. Thinking that it wasn't a necessity was a bit off because of how much easier it makes your day to day work/life.
Anyhow, enjoy the smoother experience.
I have been updating my mobile devices this year so probably need to get a desktop upgrade as it has been 6 years since my last one. Crazy to see how quick the graphics and details continue to improve exponentially!
I got myself a Samsung S22 Ultra to play Diablo Immortal back in February, what a disappointment that game was but the phone is GG.

.Smiles, Samsung s22 is really a good choice. A friend of mine just got the s21 and since I handled it, it has been spinning in my head to get it. I definitely would! but not now. Just chilling and waiting still the time is right. I can't sell that much Hive to get the phone when it is not a need but just a simple desire.
About the COD game, I ran. it is addictive and also drains data. Data isn't cheap in my country. 😅😂
scrolling down the feed in 120 fps feels pretty nice
sucks that some countries still do limited data, in finland you get unlimited for a monthly fee.
Unlimited for a monthly fee sounds really nice! Some network services provide such tariffs but they are home installed. You won't have access to the data if you are not at home but quite expensive. And light is required to charge the device and in a country like mine. 😅😂😅😂, Light is a scarce commodity. PowerBanks and Gasoline Generators are at the top of the market here. 😅😂
aha, congarts, that is really a cool smartphone, I dont play that many games 😁 so my old one is pretty good for me this far. I do love the display of Samsung. I will buy a google pixel(if I will buy any new one)
I do hope you will share some cool shots from your new smartphone soon
!giphy congrats

Samsung is a very popular brand specially for phones. Congratulations for having a new gadget and surely a great pleasure to have new device.
Samsung S22 is a nice phone. Congratulation on the new phone.
I have been eyeballing with the s22 as well due to cracks everywhere in my golden oldie. But playing COD on there? I didnt expact that honesltly...the camera would be the one for me, but damn...they are SO expensive here still. Waiting for the price to drop a bit
Congratulations on your new phone. It's a good thing hive went up and you made good use of that opportunity to get a new phone.
Samsung S22 must be a really good phone seeing how well the game works on it.
It will be nice to see how the camera works.
My friend, I sight you.
You are here also.
👍👍
Hehe, I kinda find myself here.
Thank you for sighting me 🤭.
What is this "Samsung". I only like the iPhone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A12. I bought it on 2021.09.02 I am very satisfied with it. Everything works properly, including the video games.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is one of my favorite mobile video games, but I have not played it in the previous few weeks. Actually I have not played any video game in the previous few weeks.
If you decide to play this game regularly, then feel free to add me as a friend in the game. My name in the game is [HUN] Xplosive. I played it regularly until a few weeks ago. Maybe we already met in the Aram game mode. I played many Aram matches in the past.
Sometimes I also play the PC version. The friend list is mutual in both versions, so if you add me as a friend in one of the versions, then I will be visible as a friend in the other version too. Probably in every Riot Games game. I write this, because I see people in my friend list, who play Valorant (on PC). I have not tried that game so far.
Good luck and have fun.
you're pretty good compared to me when I started I often forgot the button position and end up losing. I'm also thinking of buying a new phone as my old one is getting slow but I can still play games without lag so I might wait a few months for dome better phone to launch
I've heard alot about these games from my husband and he's so busy from work because of it. 😅
I can't relate but I'll just let him enjoy playingnut soemtimes made me annoyed for he won't sleep until he's satisfied playing 😅
Enjoy your new phone friend and the game. ☺️
That's the phone I wanna buy next. Saving towards it.
I bet you haven't tested the stepcounter though or you have already disabled it 😜
That one did make the move over as well but it's just that "annoying pop up that reminds me how many times I've walked to the fridge and back today" right now.
😲😲😲😲😲
They are by no means less than a powerful laptop :) I think, it has 5G as well ?
Should have yeah, though not using that right now.
samsung S22 is very popular😄 could I ask why you choose it as your new phone?😊
Seemed like one of the more powerful ones out there that won't be out of date any time soon and wasn't apple.
smart choice👍if i am going to change a new phone, will think about it too🌹thank you😊
Congrats on your new mobile phone, Samsung s22 is a great phone man 👍👍.
Looking forward to getting a Google pixel
that's a top tier device dude, enjoy! I'm not the biggest fan of how the S22 looks, but the camera and the gaming performance are on another level.
Yeah looks don't matter too much since I got it a case anyway.
oh totally, still an amazing device bro
Samsung? Is it a condoms brand? I prefer Xiaomi.
I've always felt like shooters are just a terrible idea for mobile gaming, never understood why so many people like it. Idk if it's your thing, but I think mobile games shine a lot brighter on the puzzle, adventure side.
Yeah I don't disagree, will have to test some new games out soon!
I'm impressed, you're even tighter than I am,
I went for the A52.
Damn good camera too, it has to be said.
Congrats on your new mobile phone. I have been planning to replace mine too due to constant lagging but then , waiting for hive to pump a bit so I can get a reasonable dollar from the sale to be enough to get a good phone.
I don’t know how y’all transition from pressing gamepads comfortably to touching screen for playing key intensive games like PUGb, COD and be comfortable with it. You guys need to be studied
to be fair even with consoles it sucks playing first person shooters, you either use a mouse or it's shit, but yeah I did mention in the post that usually I wouldn't play such games on the phone ever but had to try how well it played a more hardware extensive game.
Okay yeah you said it was annoying lol
Lmao we are waiting for you on the IPhone side
also, tell me can I upload recorded game play in the hive gaming community?
Yeah many do, though don't expect curation if the only thing you're providing is non commentary gameplay constantly.
Gotcha 😁

The S22 is a great phone, although I will always say Samsung sucks XD, sorry, I don't like it haha
I thought you were a PC Master Race
Nah, that Samsung is not bad at all. In Call Of Duty you will always win at the beginning, there are thousands of bots and to meet players you have to climb to a decent rank, it sucks. In Wild Rift I don't think that happens, I think there are only real players, unless you play against the AI.
You will definitely love the aspect of playing cod on the Samsung because it won't lag
sweet!.
does Samsung still have ads on their systems or did they removed it?.
The camera of the S22 is said to be quite good. I hope you take nice photos. We are waiting 🙂 How is the phone charging? can you advise?
Which league are you playing ? 0-1 deaths omg.
For me, if I win one round, then the next round is 100% sure lose. I don't understand call of duty mobile team balancing system.
Android for life! Didn't even notice that it are games for the phone when I watched the clips, sick. I barely use my phone these days, I even get lost when I'm trying to find 'settings' or 'messages' lol.
I have heard CoD gives new players bot opponents on new accounts to give them that rush of feeling successful.
¡Contratulations for the upgrade!
While i'm not exactly fond on samsung devices, it really is surprising how it can run CODM at 1080 and 60 fps while recording. I gotta admit, that's quite impressive
Sweet. I am still enjoying my S21. Yours is supposed to do better night shoots.
