Decided to try out POE2 after hearing @bozz talk about it often. :D
Honestly coming from Diablo 4 I found to like this a lot better after getting into it for a while.
I started off with a Witch just to quickly check graphic and game settings to prepare for recording, then noticed as I started recording that I could now choose the hardcore version to play the game, so naturally I had to go for that!

Good looking game! its been many years since I played Diablo, the original.
I really like how that map is transparent and moved around with the character facing. 👊😉😎🤙
I started out playing mainly with the mouse, but I eventually switched to the keyboard and mouse hybrid option. I feel it gives me more control of my character. My first toon was a monk and I just finished getting a ranger to endgame. The thing I really don't like right now is that you have to play a character through the campaign twice before you can do endgame stuff. Maybe that will change when early access is finished.
Yeah it's been quite difficult, maybe I should try the keyboard movement but can't help but feel 150ms is a bigger issue I'm facing right now.
I'm guessing you are probably right. It looks like I am running between 10ms and 20ms.
Such a good solid game honestly It kind of puts diablo 4 to shame. And trust me I wanted to be a Diablo 4 fanboy!
I was playing POE2 but connectivity issues really annoyed me and I bailed. I still have it in my library and may come back to it in a bit. I was also kind of annoyed by the difficulty spikes that were best described by someone in a comments section where they said "it is not fun when you run around an area, not facing even the slightest challenge for several hours, then you get to a boss, throw everything you have at it only to tickle its health bar, then get one-shotted by it"
I played with lightning ranger and started a sorceress for a bit but the connectivity issues were just seriously getting under my skin and I didn't want to do any of the "tricks" that were posted online by other users. I will just wait until the game fully works then probably jump back in.
Loved the graphics on that one! Never played POE, and after seeing a bit decided to search for it and found out that it's free to play! I don't have that much spare time for games... but now I'm trying to resist to give this one a go. Thanks for sharing!
I tried POE 1 after a @bozz talk.., but it seems like Diablo all over again. Must be me changing, the interest level is short now.
I got to level 20 with my hardcore monk and ended up dying to the first boss I found in the mines of act 2. It was extremely sad. I have yet to start again lol.
I died way before that, lol.
What type of Monk build did you do? I went pretty hard on freeze.
I would probably go with ranger, cause he sounds like Robinhood to me, the game has the game has the same dark version like diablo, but what happens if you get killed since its in the early access is there like a save mood to start were u get killed
Also, i see you are playing on PC which I think would be the superior way to play this game. Using a controller on a PS5, sometimes navigating the menus was just a mess of not being able to even see what is in your inventory because the pop up windows get in the way. On a high spec PC with a solid internet connection, I would imagine that this game is friggin awesome.
It seems similar to diablo, but slower in general, I mean your character movement is not that fast, he takes it easy to move 😅
