RE: A trip of nostalgia-turned-wonder through One Piece: Grand Adventure [ENG/ESP]

I had written in the post that...

Recently after trying it with a buddy, it was still pretty funny at first, but the chaotic stages and having to rely on running for boxes just to increase your super gauge can sometimes make it feel like you are just waiting for the item pickup to start going ham with your buttons or your support summon, unlike Power Stone where the dynamic is not just chasing the Power Stones and picking up items, but using whatever you can to take their stones to try get the funny power up.

On second thoughts, I had forgot to mention how some stages are definitely more chaotic than others, as some don't have constant gimmicks or any at all, while some have stuff flying at the stage, the stage is tilting, or in the case of Arlong Park, there's always cooks that show up with chicken/health pickups at the edges of the stage every now and then.

But yeah, the versus mode is just like the standard CPU fights, except that since its two players who can fight each other, you might be bound to see some of your own funny strategies used against you, such as running away to get treasures and fill up your power gauge, items the giant bat to cheese your enemy, and in the meantime also use your support to pester the opponent.

You can only reduce or increase the item frequency and change the starting amount of gauge, but I assume that items can't be removed for real because, aside from being a piece of the "party feel" it kinda aimed for, you can't recover your power gauge without grabbing coins.

Once again, comes down to whether you and the other players enjoy the dynamic or at least can have some big laughs with it.

Thanks for your comment!

Thanks, maybe I'm explaining badly, but yeah, that's what I'm looking for. I know more about your opinion on this. I see it as really illustrative. Nice post friend
