Darkest Dungeon es un juego el cual se trata de ir recorriendo mazmorras para así ir mejorando a tus héroes y poder pasar el juego de esta forma poder salvar el poblado… ¿fácil no? Pues no, el juego es realmente desafiante, más que ninguno que allá jugado antes, si planeas pasarte todo este juego de una forma perfecta y solo con fuerza bruta pues déjame decirte que no es tu tipo de juego. Aquí tiene que ser un buen estratega y saber manejar cada clase de héroe que llega a tu pueblo… Y aunque no me considero para nada buena en este juego quise intentar jugarlo solo para ver hasta donde podía llegar.
Some time ago I tried this game and decided to start playing it little by little so I could bring it to the community.
Darkest dungeon is a game which is about going through dungeons in order to improve your heroes and be able to pass the game in this way to save the town... easy right? Well no, the game is really challenging, more than any that I have played before, if you plan to play this entire game in a perfect way and only with brute force, then let me tell you that it is not your type of game. Here you have to be a good strategist and know how to handle each kind of hero that comes to your town... And although I don't consider myself to be good at this game, I wanted to try playing it just to see how far I could go.

You have to make the most of an adverse situation. Missions will either fail or be abandoned. Heroes will die, and when they die, they stay dead. Progress is automatically saved constantly, so your actions will be permanent...

“You will come from the old road. The wind portends trouble. A snake hiss through the corrupted field, I'm afraid it only leads to a darker place. Sickness spreads across the worn cobblestones of the old road, and on its winding path, you'll face brutality, violence, and perhaps other transcendent horrors. So be brave and remember that there is no bravery without madness. The old road will lead you to hell, but in that immense abyss we will finally find redemption"
- El bandolero: cumpliría en hacerle daño estilo rogué, con daga y arma es el que se encargara de infligir la mayor cantidad de daño posible.
- El cruzado: el cual hace el rol de tanque, este le hará frente a las amenazas, haciendo también buena parte del daño mientras llegamos al pueblo.
We are stranded in the middle of the forest with only two of our heroes willing to accompany me to face this new threat:
- The bandit: he would comply in dealing rogue-style damage, with a dagger and a weapon he is the one in charge of inflicting the greatest amount of damage possible.
- The crusader: who plays the role of a tank, he will face the threats, also doing a good part of the damage while we reach the town.
Nota: este juego me hace recordar a los Nuzlocked de pokemon xD, los cuales básicamente trabajan con las mismas reglas ya que si se muere algún héroe este se quedará muerto para siempre.
We meet some thieves, outlaws wanting to confront us. Here I was able to beat the final boss and they give you the introduction of the game, a turn-based combat where victory will be given to you by your way of making teams and thinking of a good strategy to win and be able to reach the end of the game.
Note: This game reminds me of Nuzlocked from pokemon xD, which basically work with the same rules. Because if a hero dies, he will stay dead forever.
Every time we complete a dungeon or adventure each hero gains negative and positive traits which directly or indirectly affect the adventure and the level of stress they accumulate.
Items that are found in the adventure and at the end a count is made of what you managed to achieve.
The town is little less than certain buildings almost destroyed and abandoned by the hand of God, just like the place, even so I am the hope of this place... I was able to collect two other heroes, a healer and another who looks like a doctor from Plague.
Here I start my first mission, not seeing many guides or anything to tell me if I was doing well or not running into my first enemies in the first adventure of the game.
Before each mission you can equip yourself with a series of items which will help you overcome it, such as food, torches and in this case, as you can see, shovels, which will significantly help remove debris without negative states for the heroes of the adventure.
One of the things this game has is stress, but no, I'm not talking about mine as a player, I'm talking about the heroes, because with very high stress the damage can be deadly for any hero, that's why they should be eliminated certain creatures before any other. On the other hand, do not expect the game to be fair to you because it IS NOT and that is what makes it unique for any game you create.
In some occasions (almost in all) you will be able to find objects to interact with in the scenarios and the way you interact will have a negative response or effect.
I was able to pass my first stage and although I know that this is NOTHING compared to what awaits me later, this could be the beginning of a terrifying adventure for my fiefdom.
Really, if we think about it a bit in the context of the game, it is quite gloomy, and I would say terrifying, since we have to fight from the beginning in a completely inhospitable place and far from any hope, with a thousand and one creatures from the underworld who want to eradicate any life expectancy, and they are only stopped by a group of heroes (more like mercenaries), who come together to put an end to this threat, and only a handful of heroes dare to stand up to this new darkness, I find this game somewhat bittersweet . On the one hand, I love everything that has to do with strategy and turn-based combat, however this game represents a great challenge, one that I have never been able to overcome.
This has been my experience with this great game full of difficulties until another time and thanks for reading.

Es una gran obra, uno de los juegos a los que le quiero dedicar un post solo por el enfoque y profundizar en un concepto al mayor estilo Tiano. Me parece curiosa tu review por que toca el juego a profundidad pero realmente esquivas los temas magnos del juego, Saludos :)
Realmente no se mucho del juego, a lo mucho que llegue fue cuando invaden el pueblo y de esa parte no he podido pasar, ademas eso fue hace años, veamos si esta vez tengo mas suerte 🤣

I've also bought the game and it's really hard to manage the team so they can safely get out of the dungeon
Each part of the game has repercussions and therefore everything affects the heroes in some way :(

Hace tiempo vi este juego y me llamó muchísimo la atención. Después lo jugué y se me complicó la vida. Sinceramente desistí de él y me dije "No tengo tiempo para esto" hahaha. Pero visualmente me atrapó, me encanta el dibujado que tiene. Puede que le de otra oportunidad.
xD me paso exactamente lo mismo, ya yo he avanzado varias semanas en el juego y a penas acabo de matar al aprendiz del nigromante.
Estoy pensando si seguir jugando o probar la nueva expansion de WoW
Me alegra que hayas podido animarte con Darkness Dungeon, es increíble como la frustración por un lato te empuja a mejorar pero al mismo tiempo a decir ¿En serio? Mori de nuevo por veneno/ hemorragia y querer tirar todo al diablo. Espero ver mas post y jefes impresionantes de este juego, ¡vos podes!
