The first Red Dead Redemption game seemed brutal to me, I never wanted it to end because of the satisfaction it made me feel playing it, I immediately became a fan of this title, I desired to continue and Rockstar Games arrives with a spectacular surprise that I did not hesitate to quickly look for the DLC Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, if the old west is characterized by being fascinating, wild and fierce, imagine if we add zombies and mythological creatures with a terrifying atmosphere, it is a spectacular and strange combination that I loved since I started it kept me in tension by the gloomy atmosphere and the uncertainty of what was going to happen.
We return to the charismatic John Marston who is trying to live a normal life with his son Jack and his wife Abigail, who is bitten by a zombie and are transformed, they get very ugly and try to bite me, I use the lasso to tie them up and leave them inside the ranch, I must investigate where this virus or disease came from and a possible cure, I call the horse and the great adventure begins. The map and the secondary characters are the same from the previous game, old friends like Landon Ricketts, Abraham Reye, the crazy and sick Seth, and Bonnie who I would have liked to be John Marston's partner haha. The characters with their different personalities give the story and drama a touch of humor, depth, morality, and feelings that make the game more interesting.
This game made me have a lot of fun because of its gameplay, after I started I didn't want to stop eliminating zombies wherever I saw them, with the help of an upgraded Dead Eye I indulged myself in exploding the heads of the horrible undead that came near me, many times they scared me and made my heart race, at the beginning we only had a pistol, the shotgun, I find myself with Dr. Harold who is still alive, while we talk about what is going on he is bitten by a zombie, when suddenly I am surrounded by a group of them, I use the shotgun and make my way through, it is too exciting and I was amazed by the realism, it is magnificent.
As we progress in the game we improve our arsenal with new acquisitions that gives us this beautiful sequel as the tomahawk, the torch, holy water, blunderbuss, and other types of guns, rifles, shotguns, Molotov, etc. I eliminated many zombies with the revolver and the shotgun, but ammunition is scarce, and not to waste them I had to use the torch to hit and burn them, but this is not effective with all zombies, there are some more horrible than others, I don't forget the ones with a demonic aspect, the ugly fat ones, the skinny black and ferocious ones that many times made me run, I didn't like to get off the horse much actually hahaha it's desperate when the hordes of these beasts corner you, the fear you feel is real.
The secondary missions are as fascinating as the main ones and give more hours of fun and entertainment, one of the ones I liked the most was to search and kill the mythical bigfoot, and when I find the last one that can talk, he is desolate and saddened by the extinction of his species and human cruelty, they accuse them of eating children, but he refuses to such accusation, you are given the decision to kill him or let him live, I decided to let him live, I saw the bigfoot as a tender and defenseless creature, but it is not the only mythical creature we will see, we can tame the 4 horses of the apocalypse, kill goatsuckers, find unicorns until here the originality of the game is brutal galactic level.
The graphics are of very good quality that let you appreciate the beautiful landscapes, mountains full of snow, green forests, plains that call to explore, the change of night and day is spectacular, an apocalyptic atmosphere that fascinates, accompanied by an excellent soundtrack that makes you intensify the moments of despair and dark scenes that leave you a good scare, the environmental sounds are excellent, the grunts of the zombies, gunshots, the sound of rain, everything is spectacular. We will also see animals transformed into zombies, transformed into terrifying clothes. Look anywhere where there was a chance to find bullets even the zombies themselves can be looted, it will take a lot of bullets to help the survivors to clean the towns and cemeteries of these terrifying creatures from hell.

Volvemos con el carismático John Marston que se encuentra tratando de hacer una vida normal al lado de su hijo Jack y su esposa Abigail, los cuales son mordidos por un zombi y son transformados, se ponen muy feos y tratan de morderme, uso el laso los amarro y los dejos dentro del rancho, debo investigar de donde salió este virus o enfermedad y una posible cura, llamo al caballo y la gran aventura comienza. El mapa y los personajes segundarios son los mismos del juego anterior, viejos amigos como Landon Ricketts, Abraham Reye, el loco y enfermo de Seth y Bonnie que me fuera gustado que quedara como pareja de John Marston jaja. Los personajes con sus diferentes personalidades le dan la historia y el drama un toque humor, profundidad, moralidad y sentimientos que lo hacen al juego más interesante.
Este juego me hizo divertir a lo grande por su jugabilidad, después que empecé no quise parar de eliminar zombis en cualquier lugar donde los veía, con la ayuda de un Dead Eye mejorado me di el gusto de explotarle las cabezas a los horribles muertos vivientes que se me acercaban, muchas veces me asustaron y me pusieron el corazón acelerado, al principio solo contamos con una pistola, la escopeta, el lazo y pocas balas y cuando llego al pueblo de Blackwater a investigar que rayos está pasando noto que está deshabitado y con algunas casas quemándose, me encuentro con el doctor Harold que sigue vivo, mientras hablamos sobre qué está pasando lo muerde un zombi, cuando de repente me veo rodeado de un grupo de ellos, uso la escopeta y me abro paso, es demasiado emocionante y quede asombrado por el realismo, es magnífico.
Mientras que progresamos en el juego vamos mejorando nuestro arsenal con nuevas adquisiciones que nos da esta hermosa secuela como el tomahawk, la antorcha, agua bendita, trabuco y otros tipos de pistolas, rifles, escopetas, molotov etc. Elimine a muchos zombis con el revólver y la escopeta, pero las municiones son escasas y para no desperdiciarlas me toco usar la antorcha para golpearlos y quemarlos, pero esto no es efectivo con todos zombis, hay unos más horribles que otros, no olvido lo que tiene un aspecto demoniaco, unos gordos feos, los flacos negros y feroces que muchas ocasiones me hicieron correr, no me gustaba bajarme mucho del caballo en realidad jajajajaja es desesperante cuando las hordas de estas bestias te acorralan, el miedo que sientes es real.
Las misiones segundarias son tan fascinantes como las principales y dan más horas de diversión y entretenimiento, una de las que más me gusto fue la de buscar y asesinar a los míticos bigfoot, ya cuando encuentro al último resulta que puede hablar, se encuentra desolado y triste por la extinción de su especie y la crueldad humana, los acusan de comer niños, pero él se niega a tal acusación, te dan la decisión de matarlo o dejarlo vivir, yo decidí dejarlo vivir, vi al pie grande como una criatura tierna e indefensa, pero no es la única criatura mítica que veremos, podemos domar los 4 caballos del apocalipsis, asesinar chupa cabras, encontrar unicornios hasta aquí la originalidad del juego es brutal a nivel galáctico.
Las gráficas son de muy buena calidad que dejan apreciar los bellos paisajes, montañas llenas de nieve, los bosques verdosos, las llanuras que llaman a explorar, el cambio de noche y día es espectacular, ambientación apocalíptica que fascina, acompañada de una banda sonora excelente que te hace intensificar los momentos de desesperación y escenas tenebrosas que te dejan un buen susto, los sonidos ambientales son excelentes, los gruñidos de los zombis, los disparos, el sonido de la lluvia, todo es espectacular. También veremos a animales trasformados en zombis, vestías trasformadas que dan terror. Busque en cualquier lugar donde había una posibilidad de encontrar balas incluso a los mismos zombis se le puede saquear, se va a necesitar muchas balas para ayudar a los sobrevivientes a limpiar los pueblos y cementerios de estas aterradoras criaturas del infierno.

los dlc de la séptima generación de consolas fueron una locura (Tanto el de RDR como los de GTA IV), quisiera que volvieran a experimentar algo así. Directamente no he probado este pero el concepto me parece genial.
Si de verdad que son una locura como dices, si tiene la oportunidad prueba lo de verdad que es genial y muy divertido, vale la pena jugarlo, saludos.
Funnily enough I actually played undead nightmare before I played the base game. At first I wasn't a huge fan of it as I found some of the combat encounters to be hard. But once I used some cheats I loved it. Later I got a whole different appreciation of the game when I actually played the base game. RDR is one of those games that will always be legendary!
At first, maybe it is a little difficult, but as you play it you will improve your skills, it is a legendary game very difficult to forget and worth playing again, greetings.
