Day 2 Of Playing Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta
Let me start off by saying that I, being a PlayStation player, have been having a lot of issues related to ping. All thanks to a Wi-Fi connection. My Ethernet cable was ruptured and the copper wires were out of their colour bands, almost looked like an episode of an angry kid who was yelled at by his parents for not sharing his toys with Jimmy; Jimmy get your own toys…
I do have a 5G Wi-Fi connection but even with that, and since a few days, I have been experiencing net disruptions and complete blockage.
So far, I've been enjoying the Signal 50, the one shot kill sniper rifle, in the huge white plaza area. Regardless of the distance, this beast manages to tear through the armour and hit the biggest slice of the cake; the body. The LMG is a powerful one, and it certainly does commendable damage, but the issue of it is similar with the sniper rifle- The ADS speed. This game is a bit sluggish when compared with it's prequel(MW) and so high ADS means a better chance of coming out on top.
Moreover, as I have mentioned in the previous post, extensively, that the "drop" action is a futile mechanism that does not help in the slightest.
I tried drop shotting multiple times, got gunned down everytime, like Sonny in Godfather.
I believe, the Devs still have things in their hand, whether to change this aspect or not. If not, I presume many players including me would be highly demotivated to purchase this game, even on sales.
Of course, this reason alone may seem trivial, but many others, more specifically, PC players have given their views on the game on Steam. Some players are having non-stop crashes, some are experiencing PCD(a condition for PC I just came up with) where the PC crashes as soon as the players face an enemy within kissing distance, everytime, successfully.
Thankfully, when playing this game, I got minimal disruptions and got some quality kills here.
This time I got a banger gameplay with the shotty in Farm 18.
After a series of run-in with campers and “line guards”(the worst of camping, where people just stare at a location in the hopes of catching by-passers), the game decided to show me mercy. The map of Farm 18 came up. I knew what I was gonna use and how I was about to use it.
I followed the saying that goes "If you can't beat em, join em". I made use of the shotty by holding down the centre location, the maze area.
The game began and I took my place by the entrance, waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting rushers.
This is a pretty short gameplay, I do hope you get to watch it, to and through.
After playing last night I think after a long time a good game is coming out. I was getting 180 to 200 fps on high settings. Although movement seems a little laggy. But everything seems fine for beta. Hoping it will be solved.
And Regarding Shotgun. Man!!!! the firing speed is so much faster. as we say in game " makkhon".
Here I am, doing a 60 fps on a 144hz monitor🌚. Pc to expensive, chinta kortesi, for the time being akta ps5 e niye nei.

Why BETA? Isn't the final version available yet? It seemed so difficult on the battlefield and the sounds, it gives you a realistic feel.
Currently, they released the Beta version. You can pre order the game.
Yep, this time they paid close attention to details. The gun sounds, the flash and stuns. The only bad addition is the “drop” action imo.
