Hello everyone today I bring you a review of one of my favorite games, faithful to the original and with new touches that newbies love, this game is a perfect mix between classic and new, so without more to say let's start:
Hola a todos hoy les traigo una reseña de unos de mis juegos favoritos, fiel al original y con nuevos toques que enamoran a los novatos, este juego es una mezcla perfecta entre clásico y novedoso, así que sin mas que decir comencemos:
Synopsis:
Six years after the events in Raccoon City, Leon now works for the president, who assigns him the mission to rescue his daughter Ashley Grahan who has been kidnapped by a strange cult known as "the illuminated", what seemed to be a simple mission quickly becomes complicated and turns into a real nightmare with his weapon in hand he will go into the darkness however can he accomplish his mission or will the darkness end up submerging him?
Seis años después de los eventos en Raccoon City, León ahora trabaja para el presidente, el cual le asigna la misión de rescatar a su hija Ashley Grahan que ha sido secuestrada por un extraño culto conocido como "los iluminados", lo que parecía ser una misión sencilla rápidamente se complica y se convierte en una autentica pesadilla con su arma en mano se adentrara en la oscuridad sin embargo ¿Podrá cumplir su misión o la oscuridad terminara sumiéndolo?
Gameplay
We return to dive into the darkness of Resident Evil 4 but this time we have some improvements such as being able to shoot while we move and the knife that will become our best defense against monsters, is still the same game that we fell in love years ago but has some surprises like new enemies, new cinematics and new scenarios, Another big change is that the villagers have better AI is that they can coordinate to attack you and if you are not careful you could be cornered by a dozen of them also the controls to control Ashley improved being easier to follow us or wait for us finally no longer have to press buttons in certain cinematics to avoid dying however do not trust the slightest oversight in this game can be fatal also return the puzzles that do not make you think throughout the adventure certainly more than one will make things difficult or force you to go back to find the solution.
Volvemos a sumergirnos en la oscuridad de Resident Evil 4 pero esta vez contamos con algunas mejoras como el poder disparar mientras nos movemos y el cuchillo que se volverá nuestra mejor defensa contra los monstruos, sigue siendo el mismo juego que nos enamoro años atrás pero cuenta con algunas sorpresas como enemigos nuevos, nuevas cinemáticas y nuevos escenarios, otro gran cambio es que los aldeanos cuentan con mejor IA es decir pueden coordinarse para atacarte y si no tienes cuidado podrías verte arrinconado por una decena de ellos ademas los controles para controlar a Ashley mejoraron siendo mas fácil que nos siga o nos espere por ultimo ya no hay que presionar botones en ciertas cinemáticas para evitar morir sin embargo no te confíes el menor descuido en este juego puede ser fatal ademas vuelven los puzzles que no hacen pensar a lo largo de la aventura sin duda mas de uno te pondrá las cosas difíciles o te obligara a retroceder para encontrar la solución.
Graphics
The same dark and gloomy aesthetics of the previous game returns in this one, however the improvement in image quality is evident. We are not facing a game that only invested time in the gameplay, the visual level is incredible as well as the characters because we can see with more detail their facial expressions and even the drops of water from the rain.
La misma estética oscura y tétrica del anterior juego vuelve en este sin embargo la mejora de calidad imagen es evidente no estamos ante un juego que solo invirtió tiempo en el gameplay el nivel visual es increíble al igual que los personajes pues podemos ver con mas detalle sus expresiones faciales e incluso la gotas de agua de la lluvia
Soundtrack
When we talk about Resident Evil we do not expect to find any song worth mentioning that if what we expect are chilling sounds and the noise of our weapons killing the infected, in this game we see that and more when listening to the villagers attacking us is almost impossible not to get excited when we hear: "outsider" or "death to the intruder" among others these phrases that bring back quite a few memories, the dialogues are also very deep for both protagonists and antagonists each conversation has a great meaning and will stay with us many after finishing the game.
Cuando hablamos de Resident Evil no esperamos encontrarnos con ninguna canción digna de mención eso si lo que si esperamos son sonidos escalofriantes y el ruido de nuestras armas matando a los infectados, en este juego vemos eso y mas a la hora de escuchar a los aldeanos atacándonos es casi imposible no emocionarse cuando escuchamos: "forastero" o "muerte al intruso" entre otras estas frases que nos traen bastantes recuerdos, los diálogos son también muy profundos tanto para los protagonistas como los antagonistas cada conversación tiene un gran significado y se quedara con nosotros muchos después de terminar la partida.
Conclusion
There are many more surprises waiting in this Resident Evil 4 I will not tell you all for you to discover it yourselves and as for the story you can sleep peacefully because it has only suffered slight changes that accentuate more the companionship of Leon and Ashley in addition to deepen the relationship between him and Ada, There are many differences between the two games and my main advice is not to focus so much on them and enjoy the game because this is undoubtedly one of the games that revolutionized the industry and laid the foundation for the survival horror genre, I hope you liked my post, leave in the comments your best memory of the original version, until next time.
Hay muchas mas sorpresas esperando en este Resident evil 4 no les diré todas para que ustedes mismos la descubran y en cuento a la historia pueden dormir tranquilos pues solo ha sufrido ligeros cambios que acentúan mas el compañerismos de León y Ashley ademas de profundizar la relación entre el y Ada,hay muchas diferencias entre ambos juegos y mi principal consejo es que no se enfoquen tanto en ellas y disfruten el juego ya que este es sin lugar a duda uno de los juegos que revoluciono la industria y puso los cimientos para el genero survival horror, espero les haya gustado mi post, dejen en los comentarios su mejor recuerdo de la versión original, hasta la próxima.

RE4 for me is one of the best remakes, especially the graphical change is the best, those details, hair, landscapes, etc.. Many people who played the original RE4 say they didn't like it, but I'm sure that maybe they haven't spent enough time to realize how great this remake was.
