RE: It Was You.. The NFT Storytelling Board Game - the pitch

in Hive Gaming3 years ago

Yes, I am looking for developers, but this is just the initial due diligence, so I have no idea what the future will hold for my game. I'd love for someone to come by Long Beach and actually play the physical version of the game. My family and friends love it. With a few players, it averages 10 to 12 hours per Villain.

Ah, I see! Unity and Unreal are the first thing that I discovered in my research, but I didn't know that the Hive blockchain doesn't use them. Thank you for quickly answering some of my next steps in this process. The game won't be very graphic heavy, more of a card battle style with a few different animations thrown in between encounters.

As far as the NFTs go, since that would be the money-maker, I would think that they could be like Splinterlands, where you can purchase 'cards' for the game, but they wouldn't have much value in the real world.

Thanks for your help!

Splinterlands uses Hive-Engine, they have a NFT smart contract already and a pack manager you could use. I don't use them for my own personal reasons but it would provide you with what you want.

NFT's and block chain connections is a very deep rabbit hole. With many different opinions of what is good and bad.

Outside of On-line I have been in the board game industry for just over 20 years. To get more play testers for your table top, try and use some of the virtual table top software and see if you can get more players to try it out.

Just suggestions off the top of my head.
