I hope you are well or are trying to be well. I feel like I'm struggling a bit with the flu. My nose is painfully runny all the time. Anyway... Today I want to talk about Hollow Knight again. This time I beat Soul Master. Of course, I tried more than 10 times, that's a different matter 😂😂😂 However, I would like to repeat that not everyone can play ‘good’.
This time I actually wanted to try Soul Master because I couldn't find anything to do. I also felt a little more comfortable and I felt like I could deal with it. Now, instead of sharing the 1 and a half hour video I recorded, I would like to add short video clips of what I did, again with the help of Nabi, but I'm having a problem with the internet. It took me almost hours to upload even the GIF and video you see and make it into a GIF.
I want to talk about a door that I had previously opened with a simple key. This section is located in the City of Tears. When I went down from here, I entered the Royal Waterways and it looked like a very quiet place.
I met Tuk there, and he offered me a Rancid Egg, which costs not much, but it changes every time. The way I use this egg is that when I die, if it is in a place I don't want to deal with again or out of reach, I can get it from the place where I lost it in exchange. More precisely, it is given to me by Confessor Jiji. You can also find this egg in different places, if you can find it in Blugsacc.
At first I didn't want to use it because I wasn't sure if Jiji would give me my Geos back, but at some point I died in a place where I couldn't go back and I had to try it.
Finally, I can say that Tuk, like the other vendors, with the exception of Iselda and Cornifer, is a mercenary. He knows very well how to use the language of this is yours and that is mine. For example, when I bought Rancid Egg for the first time, he said something like ‘These Geos are mine now, don't try to take them back’.
From there, I spent some more time in Royal Waterways and returned to City of Tears, where I tried to go down and explore Ancient Basin instead of going up and fighting the Soul Master. (There is a video about this, but my internet speed won't let me upload it). It hit me like a slap in the face that I still need the double jump ability for most places. Because I'm sure there are great things to do and find with a double jump or dash, whether up or down.
After that, I went upwards in City of Tears, saying that there is no use in running away anymore. Actually, I only tried to beat Soul Master 2 times in this long video. I think it's a great number 🤓 Especially, okay, I won't exaggerate, it was nice after about 10 tries.
After my first defeat, of course, I didn't give up and tried again. This time it was much easier than the last one, even if it was a bit longer. Of course, I made silly mistakes again, but I still managed to do it.
After that, I didn't really do much, I went back to the beginning, back to Forgetten Crossroads, and started to see what I could do with my new skill. Of course, other things happened, but I think they should be in another writing. Some of them are in different places and what I can do is limited and irrelevant since I'm only focusing on what I can do at the moment.

Şimdi sizinle kaydını aldığım 1 buçuk saatlik videoyu paylaşmaktansa, yine Nabi'nin yardımı ile öğrendim bir şekilde, kısa kısa neler yaptığıma dair video kesitlerini eklemek de istiyordum fakat internet ile ilgili bir sorun yaşıyorum. Gördüğünüz GIF ve videoyu bile yüklemek ve GIF hâline getirmek neredeyse saatlerimi aldı.
Daha önceden basit anahtar ile açmış olduğum bir kapıdan bahsetmek istiyorum. Bu kısım ise City of Tears'te bulunuyor. Buradan aşağı indiğimde ise Royal Waterways bölümüne giriş yaptım. Oldukça sakin bir yer gibi görünüyordu.
Orada Tuk ile tanıştım. Bana, her seferinde değişen ama çok pahalı olmayan şekilde, Rancid Egg teklif etti. Bu yumurtayı kullanma biçimi ise öldüğümde eğer tekrar uğraşmak istemediğim veya ulaşamayacağım bir yerde ise, değiş tokuş karşılığında kaybettiğim yerden alabiliyorum. Daha doğrusu bana Confessor Jiji tarafından veriliyor. Ayrıca bu yumurtayı farklı yerlerde, eğer bulabilirseniz Blugsacc'lerde çıkıyor.

Bu kısımda ise yukarı çıkıp Soul Master ile mücadele etmektense aşağıya inip Ancient Basin'i keşfetmeye çalıştım. (Bununla ilgili bir video da var fakat internet hızım yüklememe izin vermiyor.) Hâlâ çoğu yer için çift zıplama yeteneğine ihtiyacım olduğu suratıma tokat gibi yapıştı. Çünkü eminim yukarıda veya aşağıda fark etmeksizin çift zıplama ya da dash ile yapılabilecek ve bulunabilecek harika şeyler var.
Burada sonra ise artık kaçmanın ecele faydası yok diyerek City of Tears'ta yukarı doğru çıktım. Aslında bu uzun olan videoda yalnızca 2 kere denedim Soul Master'ı yenmeyi. Bence harika bir sayı 🤓 Özellikle de, tamam abartmayacağım, yaklaşık 10 kere denemeden sonra bu güzeldi.
İlk yenilgimden sonra yılmayıp tabii ki de tekrar denedim. Bu seferki biraz uzun olsa dahi diğerine göre çok daha kolaydı. Elbette yine saçma hatalar yaptım ama yine de başarabildim.

Sorry to hear about the flu that sounds rough. I pray for your speedy recovery. I'm also going through some complications with itching problem that looks contagious and I got it first from a baby cousin. Now its not letting me live peacefully.
Congrats on defeating Soul Master. That sounds like a huge achievement even after so many tries.
That sounds rough. I hope you and the baby will be alright soon. With these, for adult of course, I recommend Fucidin or Fucicort. They are the same with different levels. Especially with open wounds it is the best I used so far.

I must tell you that your patience with this game has been immaculate, you should be applauded for that hahaha xD. It's been a while since I would have just quit, my experience with Hollow Knight boils down to a tremendous headache, what a fucked up game indeed.
But well with this I don't want to discourage you either, I rather hope you keep enjoying it without getting so many grey hairs in the attempt.
I thought that the internet problems only happened in this side of the world, in the country where I live it's the same, the internet and electric energy services are garbage.
Actually, I keep playing this one because Nabi likes it, ngl. We are having our most serious talks about this game and it is making me happy. Of course when you look at it I am a shitty player but he likes it.
