The maps/lighting/3D models/charcters etc looks so cool!
Too bad the gameplay is glitchy. That pretty much ruins everything. Maybe they will patch things like you said.
Great review. I might play this game although not sure if I'm just going to rage quit when the battles glitch. THat's too bad because the graphics and storyline seem really cool. It reminds me of the style of a Telltale game but an open map.
I think I will eventually go back to it... But I did rage quit a little bit there. Plus, I had way too many games on the backlog that were demanding attention and wouldn't give me such trouble..
Oh bro, I was just like you following this game even before its release, the difference being that I didn't buy it, I kept putting it off and focusing on other games.
From everything I had seen it seemed like a game I was going to completely fall in love with because it gave me that mysterious/weird/terrifying feel to its story, the whole pill and false reality thing really appealed to me. But reading your review I see that maybe I was right not to buy it at the time, a sadness that it has flaws like that, especially because I always like to be as stealthy as possible in games that allow it.
Maybe I'll pick it up on some super offer 90-85% off, haha.
Ah well... We all do it to ourselves when we set the bar too high with our own expectations! Still, I think I will go back to it when I've had a bit of distance. Probably more than worth it at a discount though! Perhaps you will be more patient than me!

The setting and fundamentals of this game could've produced something amazing, sadly it fell completely flat and will probably fade into obscurity.
