This is a review of a game Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition for the PS4. Sniper Elite 3 is a third-person tactical shooter developed by Rebellion Developments. You play as Karl Fairburne a strategic service officer involved in the World War II conflict in north Africa. You've got a campaign mode, you've got challenge mode, you have a solo survival mode which is kind of like hordes, you have a regular survival and overwatch mode. The game takes place in North Africa/Middle East it's that kind of like a desert landscape. So it's kind of like interesting environments difference as some of the other games in the series.
What is the game like to play

The game has an interesting feel to it. It's a mix of an arcade game and a stealth game with the majority of the action focusing on the stealthy sniper action. You can Crouch, you can go prone to set up your sniper shots and you can hide from the enemy troops in bushes. When you shoot the noise draws the attention of the enemy troops so you have to get used to shooting then relocating if you take down an enemy you can loot the body for supplies or you can pick them up and hide them. You can sneak up and lonely and take them out with a close-quarters combat move in terms of weapons obviously you've got a sniper rifle, you have a handgun, you have a machine gun, you've got bandages, grenades, MIDI packs, and other items that can help you really get through the different missions. You also have to consider your heart rate as you run your beats per minute increase and the higher the BPM the harder it will be to take a steady shot so taking your time being calm setting up your shots definitely results in more effective attack but the key feature to the game is the sniper rifle and the amazing slow-motion kill shots.
When you take a kill shot with a sniper rifle you get a third-person view of the bullet traveling through the level and killing the enemy and when it lands you see the skeleton and the organs of the enemy and if you're a crack shot you can take out the brain, heart, kidney, or even the dreaded nutsack Shaw. The enemies are varied and carry a variety of weapons they range from basic infantry rocket launcher troops snipers etc there's also vehicles and tanks you've got to deal with so different tics will apply to those .Overall the game is great fun to play and the tempo in the way the play swings from stealth action to arcade action it's kind of fun this is not many games can do that very well. The graphics are ok but bear in mind this is a few years old now the character models they're fine but the animations look a bit janky the RIT awkward and you know some of the collision detections have a bit of an issue. The environments though they do look good and yeah it's I taste above-average visually. The audio in the hole is solid it's not amazing but it does what it needs to do the voice acting is a little bit disappointing though but the sound effects are excellent and the whole audio. Overall, it's good with a few issues.
What's good and what's bad.
What's good: The campaign is varied and interesting the solo survival mode is amazing fun and the sniper rifle slo-mo kills are just brilliant.
What's bad: A few more missions wouldn't have gone amiss some of the character models glitch out a bit from time to time and the animations could have been a bit smoother.
what's the verdict
Sniper Elite 3 is a fun mixture of arcade-style play with in-depth stealth features. There aren't many games that can go from an arcade shooter to a stealth shooter very so seamlessly and Sniper Elite really does it well. The Sniper feature is excellent fun and one of the most satisfying parts of the game. The main campaign is well crafted but for me, the solo survival horde mode is just one of the best and most addictive modes I've ever played because it's not like a conventional horde mode where they always know where you are and they just run to you when the enemies arrive they don't know where you are so it's kind of too stealthy horde mode and it's so much fun, so addictive. So overall it's just a very good game that I would recommend checking out if you are you a sniper shooter lover.
