Loving Death Stranding A Little Too Much

This is what you call an intense game! This was truly a challenging game to play and I throughly enjoyed it.

Developed by Kojima Productions and directed by Hideo Kojima. The game is set in a post apocalyptic United States, following a cataclysmic event known as the Death Stranding. This event has caused the boundaries between the world of the living and the dead to blur, leading to the appearance of mysterious, ghost like entities known as BT’s ie Beached Thing

You will be playing as Sam Porter Bridges, a delivery man tasked with reconnecting isolated cities and communities, known as the United Cities of America (UCA), through a communication network called the Chiral Network.

Players must deliver supplies, fend off hostile entities and human factions, and navigate treacherous terrain.

When it comes to the character developments of the enemies in the game, you don’t really have that much at most. You have say five different types of enemies throughout the entire game.

The game has a complex narrative and when you first start of the game, you will not be provided with weapons. You will only get weapons later on in the game somewhere around chapter 2 or 3, I can’t recall exactly, which is well about four hours into the game.

Also the cutscenes are incredibly long 😂 you have some that are even 30-40 minutes long and the wait can get overwhelming at times to get back control of the game. This was something I had no idea about when I first started the game I was like for fucks sake what is happening because for the first 3 hours of the game I had control of for maybe just 30 minutes or so 🥲

The music score of this game is phenomenal and I don’t think I’ve heard a wonderful and very cinematic and atmospheric soundtrack in a game so far.

I ended up completing the main storyline within 37 hours of the game time, including viewing all the cut scenes as I didn’t feel like skipping on them because they were very cinematic for me and well they we’re important to get to know the story, although some we’re really boring 😂

I’ve got quite a few reviews coming up next on some of my favourite titles which didn’t really excite me as I played the game which turned out to be a disappointment (Pst Assassins Creed Origin & Odyssey) and an extremely underrated game for god knows what reason which is Days Gone.

I wanted to buy Death Stranding when it released but lacked the proper hardware to run it. The photo mode in the game looked interesting! Your post reminded me about it though. I'll try to pick it up next time it is on sale. Thanks for your post!

Oh this is a game you must try! It’s lengthy to an extent and can get in your nerves, but it’s worth it 😂
