If you're into gaming then you might already be aware of a new game that's started up called Crownrend It's an Idle Game based around the concept of building a kingdom with it's own economy and raiding / defending against other players. I thought it was interesting so have been playing for the last week or so.

As with everything new there is usually a bit of a hype cycle associated with it and these things can also take a little while to build up some momentum. It cost me 20 odd HIVE to sign up (that is now up to about 24 HIVE) and I did decide to buy a few DENAR (which is the games main token) to speed up my early development, but it has Hive Keychain integration so I was able to get going fairly quickly and the user interface is pretty intuitive.
Basically you earn DENAR in a passive way but you get +1 raid that you can execute each hour to steal other players unclaimed DENAR. They can accumulate up to 8 so if you log on once a day you can make 8 raids and then claim your unclaimed DENAR (which you can do every 4 hours). That claimed DENAR can then be used to upgrade your army or economy.
Strategically it's pretty simple. Most people focus on building Army Strength for more effective raids, or Army Toughness to defend against enemy raids. However, there is some nuance to the game and it is clearly under development so it could be adding new features steadily over the coming weeks and months.
If you want to get in early then take a look. The DENAR price has fluctuated a bit but has bled out some value since I started playing. That suggests to me that the early hype may be already dissipating a little. People might be getting bored with it, but I find stuff like this with it's own tokenomics interesting. I hope it turns out to be a welcome addition to the Hive gaming ecosystem.
