Voting for the next president is in progress. Here president changes every two weeks and this time, with your love and support, till now I am at the top of the presidential race. But I am not sure of winning the rase as it will depend on d-pend vote π! . Five months back when I started my journey as a dCity player, never thought that I will be near to become a president.
Still there are 5 days remaining to elect the president, and whatever will be the result, I am really happy and thankful for your love and support.
My view on taxes
Taxes are a very important aspect of the game, as it decide the income of any player. New players are not happy with high tax rate as their SIM income reduces with increasing the tax. But we must understand (specially new players) that, this game is not only to earn SIM income, rather It is a multidimensional game which gives you opportunities of earning in various ways. But it all happens when a player stay in the game for long time.
I do believe that taxes should be as low as possible, not only in the game but also in the real world π, so everybody could earn some income. As per the current situation, I think taxes should be between 95-98% depending on SIM price and inflation. But ultimately here in the game, more SIM in circulation increase inflation and decrease SIM price, so SIM earned become less valuable. It is not a guarantee that the SIM earned by players will be reinvested in the game, as most of the short term players have tendency to book profit by selling earned token. With high tax rates, only real and serious players stay in the game and explore other sources of earning like minting cards, earn ENTRY, ranking rewards, SIM holding rewards etc. It makes game ecosystem better and healthy.
Winning or not winning my election is secondary, but the game must keep moving forward with new innovations. Once again, I thank all of you for your valuable support and love β€οΈ!

followed u but sorry i voted on d pend before i click the redirect cliplink. good read. so thats the reason for high taxes as of now my goal is to have many entry than sims. also increase those drop chances like technologies , training, background and new citizens in most efficient way coz the tutorial info is outdated. the formula for chances isnt updated.
