I was bored and wanted to play something, and used a Steam game picker and went with the first result. Installed this game which I got a few time ago from a bundle, not knowing what to expect...and, I was pleasantly surprised.

Story
The main plot is basically that you're a toy in a kid's sandbox playground. And your people, lost access to water after the rival tribe, destroyed the pipe. So you're on a quest to talk with the king of the rival tribe.
Gameplay
As in its Steam description, Supraland is an 3D First person metroidvania with puzzles like portal and some zelda around there. To be honest, it's pretty accurate. The gameplay it's mostly focused on puzzles and exploration, the fighting is there just so you can gather some money for upgrades.
The concept of this gameplay is even more interesting because, it's a first person platformer, which, well, is not actually something common, and secondly, it's an open world, taking advantage of the player's desire to do every possible side quest before advancing with the main plot, so, you explore, and then explore some more, and the hours are passing (I've put 32 hours into this game, No regrets, would do it again).
The map
This one has a very interesting feature, you can draw on it. Thinking of exploration, you can see my tactic where I divided the map into smaller areas, of different sizes, so I can check more easily where I looked and where I didn't in the last part of the game to gather every chest.
One more thing that I appreciate about this map is that there's no wasted space, with bigger and smaller areas, you never have the feeling of wasting your time exploring an area.
Collectibles
There are few of them, but still enjoyable to collect, from the most weird places you would think, making sure you explore the entire map if you want 100% on this game.
Puzzles
The puzzles are the heart of this game, I can't imagine it without them. Some of them are simple, just press a button, some require some more thinking and planning, combining power-ups like in the screenshot. And the first-person perspective, only improves the experience.
Final impression
This game can't be described other than an experience. The childish art style takes you back to your own memories, and everything just works great together. Puzzles are enjoyable, the enemies are just hard enough at the start of the game, only to get easier with every upgrade.
