With the start of the Christmas holidays, I think I've found some free hours to continue sharing my favorite hobby, which is video games and in particular Star Wars games, which I usually love very much since I started playing when I was almost 5 years old
There is not a period in my head in which I don't know Star Wars, I think it was a franchise that was very present especially because I watched a lot of television and my dad was also a fan of video games so he had several consoles with several of those games inside but there are always some that I overlook and this is one of them them
The Republic Command has always been very interesting to discover and theorize about who their strongest soldiers were and I actually think the clones are one of the best additions they could have made. make the prequel and add a whole world of possibilities to what was The Clone Wars
I had this game in my sights for several years but it was someone from the community who made one of the best reviews I've ever read and convinced me to download it to the PC and keep it there for a while until I felt like playing it, which I've already done on the blog as well as outside of it in my free spaces where I just want to relax
And this game I think has a lot of Halo vibes, which is one of my great forgotten ones and frankly one of the sagas that I don't have I've been wanting to play for some time now despite having everything I like in a video game
To start with, it's a first-person shooter set in one of my favorite worlds, Star Wars, where you have a lot more information and details on a single planet than other entire franchises, and it also gives rise to many other people inventing new stories, like I think this has been the case
I think that if I had discovered this game in my childhood, I would have surely spent hours and hours trying to complete it. Of course, in my childhood, I was terrified of first-person games, since I was very scary and you could say that I was even capable of turning off the console if I saw any enemy very close on the screen
I'm still digesting how good the first level of this game is, putting us in the situation of the first clones that arrived at the beginning of the Clone Wars but giving the focus on a special squad that has to fulfill a mission almost as important as victory on the battlefield
At the beginning they introduce us to the whole team and they are not just mere automated companions but they can be very helpful in combat and in fact we have to go through some specific areas with their help
Each one is specialized in some area, whether it be demolition or computer hacking and they won't be useful for many things, they can be knocking down walls or modifying enemy power stations to lower the shields and make it easier to shoot the androids that lurk in every corner of these first levels in the face
And so we will have to go through the alleys finishing off both the droids and the natives who are at the beginning of the war and in fact you can also see several scenes from the movies as well as the battlefield where all the original clones of the war are descending
I'm not going to talk about the difficulty or the errors that the automated companions have because I understand that this game It's just over 10 years old and that would be unfair of me so I turned off my brain and just enjoyed the music and atmosphere it offered as well as the stress of finishing off hordes of Giant enemies
It doesn't hold up too well over time but that seems normal to me the important thing is that it captures the essence of my favorite saga and extends it a little more
If there is a game that deserves a remaster I think it is this one although I see it complicated having Disney at the head of this franchise and releasing mediocre games every now and then but I have hope that the fans make themselves heard and the studios are desperate to make us happy and give a deserved update not only to this but to many other games old

Con el inicio de las vacaciones de Navidad creo que he encontrado algunas horas libres para seguir compartiendo mi afición favorita que son los videojuegos y en particular los juegos de Star Wars qué suelo tenerles mucho cariño desde que empecé a jugar con casi 5 años
No hay un periodo en mi cabeza en el que no conozca Star Wars creo que fue una franquicia que estuvo muy presente sobre todo porque veía mucha televisión y mi papá era también aficionado a los videojuegos por lo que tenía varias consolas con varios de esos juegos dentro pero siempre están algunos que se me pasan por alto y este es uno de ellos
El Comando de la república siempre ha sido muy interesante para descubrir y teorizar sobre Cuáles eran sus soldados más fuertes y de hecho creo que los clones son de las mejores adiciones que pudo hacer la precuela y agrega todo un mundo de posibilidades a lo que fueron Las Guerras Clon
Tenía este juego en la mira por varios años pero fue alguien de acá de la comunidad el que hizo una de las mejores reseñas que he podido leer y me convenció de descargarlo a la PC y tenerlo ahí un buen rato hasta que me sintiera con ganas de jugarlo cosa que ya he hecho en el blog aún así como también fuera de él en mi espacios libres en donde solo quiero relajarme
Y este juego Creo que tiene muchas vibras de Halo que es uno de mis grandes olvidados y francamente una de las sagas que no tengo muchas ganas de jugar desde hace algún tiempo a pesar de tener todo lo que me gusta en un videojuego
Para empezar es un Shooter en primera persona ambientado en uno de mis mundos favoritos como lo es Star Wars en donde tienes en un solo planeta mucha más información y detalles que otra franquicias enteras y también da pie a que muchas otras personas inventen historias nuevas como Pienso que ha sido este caso
Creo que si hubiese descubierto este juego en mi niñez seguramente le habría dedicado horas y horas tratando de completarlo por supuesto en mi niñez le tenía pánico a los juegos en primera persona ya que era muy asustadizo y se podría decir que hasta era capaz de apagar la consola si veía algún enemigo muy de cerca en la pantalla
Todavía estoy digiriendo lo bueno que es el primer nivel de este juego poniéndonos en la situación de los primeros clones que llegaron al comienzo de Las Guerras clone pero dándole el enfoque en un escuadrón especial que tiene que cumplir una misión casi tan importante como la victoria sobre el campo de batalla
Al principio nos introducen a todo el equipo y Estos no son solo meros compañeros automatizados sino que pueden sernos de mucha ayuda en el combate y de hecho algunas zonas específicas tenemos que pasarlas con ayuda de ellos
Cada uno está especializado en algún área ya sea la demolición o el hackeo informático y No servirán para muchas cosas pueden ser derribar paredes o modificar las centrales enemigas para bajar los escudos y que sea más fácil meterle un tiro en la cara a los androides que nos acechan en cada esquina de estos primeros niveles
Y así tendremos que ir por los callejones acabando tanto con los droides como con Los nativos que están en este inicio de la guerra y también de hecho se pueden ver varias escenas de las películas así como el campo de batalla donde están descendiendo todos los clones originales de la guerra
No voy a hablar de la dificultad ni de los errores que tienen los compañeros automatizados porque entiendo que este juego tiene poco más de 10 años y sería Injusto de mi parte así que apagué el cerebro y solo disfruté de la música y el ambiente que ofrecía además del estrés de acabar con hordas Gigantes de enemigos
No se mantiene demasiado bien en el tiempo pero eso me parece normal lo importante es que si capta la esencia de mi saga favorita y la extiende un poco más
Si hay un juego que merece una remasterización creo que es este aunque lo veo complicado teniendo a Disney al frente de esta franquicia y sacando juegos mediocres cada tanto pero tengo esperanza de que los fans se hagan escuchar y los estudios estén desesperados por hacernos felices y darle una actualización merecida no solo a este sino a muchos otros juegos viejos
Si se parece mucho a halo. Ahora que mencionas eso de los clones, yo tampoco sé qué sería star wars sin ellos, y sin yoda jaja. Yoda es muy cool
me da muchas vibras a halo en especial al comienzo y creo que hay algunos devs de esa saga aqui

Si no fuera porque dice Star Wars por todos lados, pienso que es uno de los juegos de halo, su interfaz es muy parecida. Por cierto, hay un juego de Star Wars que regalaran en epic muy pronto para que lo reclames
