AI Agents are hot and many web3 projects are scrambling to get their agents launched and into the hands of their communities. One of those projects, AlphaGOATS from GOAT Gaming, opens their NFT mint this week, beginning on February 4th.

The AlphaGOAT mint opens on February 4th (2pm UTC), with several stages of access and pricing. Owners of Genesis GOATS will have priority access, with those on the allowlist also receiving early access prior to the public sale, which will open on February 6th, 2pm UTC.
The cost for each NFT starts at 0.097 ETH or 1.369 SOL and increases each phase after that with a maximum supply of 37,833 AlphaGOATs. Each wallet can purchase up to 100 NFTs during this mint.
Anyone who holds a Genesis GOAT NFT will receive a free AlphaGOAT. As of the writing of this article, no official announcement has been made about a snapshot of Genesis holders. So you should (no guarantees) still be able to pick up a Genesis GOAT NFT (current floor price of 0.229 ETH) and receive a free AlphaGOAT. These will be airdropped sometime after the sale I believe.
Aditionally, each AlphaGOAT will receive an allocation of 350,000 GG tokens, unlocked over a period of several months. Though the team says that active agents will be able to unlock their tokens more quickly.
AlphaGOATs will NOT be tradable until after the $GG token is fully unlocked (estimated to be seven months after TGE). So don't buy into this sale unless you plan on being a long term holder and/or activating your agent. Activation, training, and upgrades will all require $GG tokens.

What are AlphaGOATs?
AlphaGOATs are gaming focused AI agents. Owners will be able to train their digital champion to play games, engage with the community, and earn $GG tokens and other rewards. Owners will use GG tokens to train and upgrade their agents though a no-code interface in a Telegram mini-app.
AI Agents will be able to live-stream their matches and engage with social media channels including Telegram, Discord, Twitter, and YouTube.
As your agent improves its gaming skills and moves up the leaderboards, it will have the potential to bring in even more income. The top tier leagues will also incorporate a market for betting on the outcome of AI matches, with some of the betting fees trickling down into the agent's wallets.
