The main menu of Gran Turismo 7 starts with an option between casual driving in Music Rally and the World Map, where everything else takes place. Upon entering the World Map for the first time, we are greeted with an epic intro video that showcases the history of cars. If you are not aware, the release of Gran Turismo 7 marks the 25th anniversary of the Gran Turismo franchise. This game puts a big emphasis on not only giving you a realistic driving experience but also teaching you facts about popular manufacturers over many years of automobile history. Even if you arent a car lover like I am, you cannot help but appreciate the attention to detail present here.
After the intro video, I was awarded three preorder bonus cars. The Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept Stealth Model, Toyota Supra GT500 '97, and Porsche 917 Living Legend. I couldn't wait to finally get to driving these sexy rides, but I was quickly greeted by one of the voiceless (but not faceless) NPCs as they explained how the very aesthetically pleasing world map works.
I went with a used Toyota Aqua S '11 as my first car, you have to start somewhere I guess. I knew it wouldn't be long before I had something better. I then ventured over to the Gran Turismo Cafe and received my first menu book. This is basically the game's missions and the concept seems to work extremely well.
Time for my first race. I couldn't resist and took my Porsche 917 out for a spin on the oval track Northern Isle Speedway. I then did the exact same race with my Toyota Aqua and the difference between the two was staggering. Each car in this game feels totally different and that will be expanded upon even more once you start buying new parts and tuning the rides to your exact specifications.

I think I have 3 or 4 sexy Supras in my garage right now. I love those damn cars. I catch myself chuckling about the whole PP thing quite often. Japanese developers sure must love the PP considering so many games use that acronym.
This gets a vote from me cuz my first car ever bought in any GT game (GT2 was my first) was a Supra. Ah youth.
Impossible to forget moments like that from our childhood. The Supra is such a legendary car. Are you a fan of the new ones?
I, sadly, don't have the money to afford any console after the PS2 generation. Now that I have some money (largely thanks to crypto), I plan to eventually purchase PS5 and game the fuck out. Had to upgrade my PC first though, still saving money for it. But for now, I don't have the console to play it.

LOL What a funny way for me to misunderstand that sentence. I like the design of the new Supra...and that's probably the only thing I can say cuz my knowledge on car specs suck. 😅 Probably not for me to break down the spec on the old and new and compare.
But I also think that the cars I like changed a lot with time. When I am young, all I care about are the sport cars. Now I like more types of cars.

The game started mine super ❤️ Graphics and cars are looks so real and feel so great.
This game literally replaced any other racing game.
I'm sure PC gamers will claim other racing sim options are more fun, but I love GT7 and nothing is changing my mind about it.

El juego se juega asombrosamente. Lo único que es pésimo es lo desesperado que está el equipo detrás del juego para que los jugadores gasten dinero extra en microtransacciones. Además de eso, es un simulador de carreras muy bueno.
