It looks cooler than it feels 🤨
I thought I had found a cool-looking game on the PS Plus game catalog when I recently discovered the existence of Soulstice. It's a highly cinematic and gorgeous game. That, however, is about all of the positives I can say about it. It could have easily just been called Barrel Breaker Simulator, because that's about all I did in the first act. You will see it for yourself in my gameplay video today.
A bit more about Soulstice before the video.
"Soulstice" was released in September of 2022. It was a next-gen-only game at first, but a PS4 version has since been released. This action RPG promised an enthralling blend of intense combat, rich storytelling, and a visually striking dark fantasy world. Developed by Reply Game Studios, the game invites players to step into the roles of two sisters, Briar and Lute, each wielding distinct combat styles and abilities. Set in the vibrant city of Keidas, the game unfolds a tale of retribution, sacrifice, and the struggle against a malevolent force known as the Wraiths. The game's narrative depth, coupled with its dynamic combat system, should immersive and engaging experience. Sadly, that just wasn't the case for me.
The combat in Soulstice is designed to be fluid and skill-based, offering players a diverse array of melee and magical abilities to unleash upon their adversaries. It reminded me of Devil May Cry, which isn't my type of game at all. Each sister possesses her own unique fighting style, allowing players to switch between the two protagonists seamlessly, combining their strengths to overcome a variety of challenging foes. As players delve deeper into the game, they discover new abilities and powerful synergies, fostering a sense of progression and empowering them to confront increasingly formidable enemies.
The game's visually captivating world, characterized by its gothic architecture and haunting landscapes, sets the stage for mid-tier combat encounters. By combining real-time action with tactical decision-making, Soulstice aimed to provide players with a deeply immersive and rewarding combat experience, as they navigate through the city's perilous streets and face off against a host of nightmarish creatures. I instantly deleted this game after my gameplay video, which you can now view below.

Man!!! Write many posts about this game here! I really liked it, it's like a brutal Hack and Slash and the whole story. However, for PC there are parts that are excessively poorly optimized, and I stopped playing it, however I have the complete game because Epic gave it away a lot. However, what I told you is a shame and I uninstalled it. Thanks for share bro!
