Today, we continue with this amazing game called MOON KARTS, but this time, we will focus on ranked matches and how you can play with a controller on your PC.
This post will be divided into two parts to keep everything organized and make it easier to understand. That being said, let's get started:
🏎️SETTING UP A CONTROLLER
Although you can play with a keyboard, I feel that for this type of racing game, you'll have a better experience if you map the game’s keys so that you can use a generic or official controller.
In my case, I’m using a PlayStation 4 controller connected via cable to my PC. Usually, you can just plug it in and use it, but in this case, we need a program to map the buttons used in this game.
The program I use is called Xpadder (search for it on Google). It’s a free tool that allows us to map our controller and assign the keys used in Moon Karts by our friends at @arcadecolony to control our car. This is a portable program, and here I’ll show you the button mapping I use.
The good thing about this program is that you can save multiple profiles for different games (even for Hyper Blaster), so you just need to find the best configuration that suits your hands and playstyle. The setup is very simple and intuitive, but don’t forget to save your profile.
I recommend keeping your controller wired because sometimes there might be lag, which could ruin your gaming experience in multiplayer mode.
🏎️RANKED MODE
Now that we have the controller ready, it's time to jump into multiplayer! Remember, it’s important to have fuel for ranked rewards and the Colony from the two prize pools.
The more Scrip tokens you have in stake, the greater your ability to withdraw your fuel from your NFTs in stake.

We played two races, and I finished second in one of them, haha.
This mode has two leagues that last seven days, and the higher your ranking, the better your rewards. Here is my current position in both leagues at the time of this post.
Overall, I see a lot of potential in this game since you can play it directly from a browser. As more people discover it, it will be easier to find matches and have some crazy races.
Also with the control you will be able to drive better the curves to improve your times and beat your rivals, although there is a lot of level in ranked, our opponents fly hehe.

Hoy continuamos con este maravilloso juego llamado MOON KARTS pero esta vez nos enfocaremos en las rankeds y como puedes jugar con un mando o control desde tu pc.
Este post los dividiremos en 2 partes para que sea muy organizado todo y puedas entender mejor. Dicho esto empecemos:
CONFIGURAR UN CONTROL
Aunque podes jugar con el teclado, siento que este tipo de juegos de carreras tendrás una mejor experiencia si mapeas las teclas del juego para que un control genérico o original lo puedas usar para dicho fin.
En mi caso estoy usando un mando de Playstation 4 conectado por cable a mi pc. Generalmente con solo conectarlo lo podrías usar, pero en esta caso debemos tener un programa para mapear los botones que usamos en este juego.
El programa que uso se llama Xpadder ( búscalo en google ) el cual es de uso libre donde podremos mapear nuestro control y poner las teclas que se usa en moon karts de los amigos de @arcadecolony para maniobrar nuestro carro. Este es un programa portable y aquí te muestro los botones que uso.
Lo bueno de este programa es que podes guardar varios perfiles para cada juego ( incluso para hyper blaster ) y ya solo debes mirar cual seria la mejor configuración que se adapte a tus manos y estilo de juego. La configuración es muy sencilla e intuitiva pero no olvides guardar tu perfil.
Es mejor que tengas conectado el control por cable porque siento que ocasiones puede haber lag lo que podría dañar tu experiencia de juego en el modo multijugador.
MODO RANKED
Bueno ahora que ya tenemos listo el control es hora de jugar el multijugador; recuerda que es importante tener fuel para las recompensas en las rankeds y los colony de las pool de premios que son 2.
Entre mas token scrip tengan en stake mayor sera el poder retirar tus fuel de tus nft en stake.

Dentro de este modo tenemos 2 ligas por decirlo así que duran 7 días y entre mejor estemos en las posiciones mejor serán nuestras recompensas. Esta es mi actual posición al momento de este post en ambas ligas:
En general le veo mucho potencial a este juego ya que lo podes jugar desde un navegador. Pero cuando mas gente lo conozca sera mas fácil encontrar partidas y hacer algunas partidas locas.
Ademas con el control podrás pilotear mejor las curvas para que mejores tus tiempos y les ganes a tus rivales, aunque hay mucho nivel en ranked, nuestros oponentes vuelan jeje.

I tried ot but this looked so pay to win that my basic kart and tired couldn't even turn. I wish the model could have been better focusing more on skilled gameplay than having legendary accesories that gives you incredible performance boost.
