Moon Karts has been trending these past few days, but few people actually know how its economy, rewards, and key mechanics work before jumping in.
In case you didn’t know, this Web3 project is part of the @arcadecolony universe, and although it's still in its early stages, there's a lot to talk about and learn to make your experience in this game much more enjoyable.
But don’t worry, in this post, I’ll teach you what I’ve learned about this project and share it with you. That being said, let’s get started:
WHAT DO I NEED TO PLAY?
You can play the game without buying any NFTs, but if you want to earn rewards, you must at least own a driver and a car.
A great thing is that you can play directly from your browser. I recommend setting the graphics to medium or low, depending on your internet speed.
The game features various NFT rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary), which improve stats like speed, acceleration, handling, and more.

I opened these two packs that I had saved for a while, and look at the surprise I got—wow!
I finally have a Legendary Driver for now, I’ll stake it (you’ll understand why later). As for the Epic Car, I’ll use it for racing it looks amazing!
GETTING FUEL
To get Fuel, you must stake your NFTs along with some SCRIP (the game’s token).

You need to buy this token on Hive Engine and transfer it to the game, where you can stake it along with your NFTs. Over time, this setup will generate Fuel, which is essential for multiplayer mode.
The amount of Fuel you can claim depends on how much SCRIP you have staked. Additionally, the rarity of your staked NFTs improves the Fuel generation rate.
This is my total Fuel after two days with my staked NFTs. Of course, I can’t withdraw everything yet since I’d need to stake more SCRIP, but this gives you a rough estimate.
RACES
You can play Solo Mode for practice or Multiplayer Mode, which consumes a set amount of Fuel depending on your NFT rarities and setup (manage your resources wisely!).
Keep in mind that you can race without Fuel, but you won’t receive any rewards.
One thing I’ve noticed is that matchmaking can take a while, so be patient.
As for controls, they’re simple:
- Arrow keys to move
- Spacebar to drift
- I key to use power ups
Make sure your car has good handling! You can improve this by purchasing and equipping NFTs.

At the end of every race, you’ll earn points that help you climb the leaderboard, increasing your token rewards at the end of the season.
FINAL THOUGHTS
MOON KARTS has a lot of potential, and hopefully, more players will join over time.
A great thing is that the project is still very new, so some NFTs are quite affordable in the market—this might be a good time to jump in! Plus, since it’s part of ARCADE COLONY, it gives us even more confidence in its future.

Moon Karts ha estado muy popular estos últimos días, pero pocos saben como funciona su economía, recompensas y elementos que debes saber antes de empezar a jugar.
Por si no sabes este proyecto Web3 hace parte del universo de @arcadecolony y aunque aun esta en sus inicios hay mucho para contar y que aprendas, para que así tu experiencia en este juego sea mas agradable.
Pero tranquilo que este post te enseñare lo que he aprendido en este proyecto y quiero compartirlo contigo. Dicho esto empecemos:
QUE NECESITO PARA JUGAR
Básicamente puedes jugar el juego sin comprar ningun Nft, pero si quieres obtener recompensas mínimo debes tener un piloto y un coche.
Algo bueno es que podes jugarlo desde el navegador donde te recomiendo que lo pongas en gráficos medios o bajas según la velocidad de tu internet.
Aquí encontramos varios nft ( común, raro,épico, legendario ) que mejoraran nuestras estadísticas como velocidad, aceleración, manejo entre otras.
Yo abrí estos 2 packs que tenia hace rato guardados y miren la sorpresa que me lleve, wow
Tengo por fin un piloto legendario que por el momento lo pondré en stake ( entenderás mas adelante ) y bueno el coche épico si lo dejare para participar en las carreras, esta increíble.
OBTEN FUEL
Para obtener fuel debes poner en stake tus nfts junto con algunos SCRIP ( token del juego ); dicho token lo debes comprar en hive engine y traerlo al juego para ponerlo en stake junto con los nfts que tu deseas. Estos cada cierto tiempo te darán este combustible que es indispensable para el modo multijugador. Es importante que según la cantidad del token SCRIP que tengas apostado podrás sacar x cantidad de fuel que te servirá para las carreras en multijugador.
Algo que también debes saber es que según la rareza de tu nft en stake sera mejor la optencion del recurso fuel.
Este es mi fuel total después de 2 días con los nft que tengo, claro esta que no los puedo sacar todos ya que necesitaría stakear mas scrip ,pero para que se hagan un estimado
LAS CARRERAS
Puedes jugar solo para practicar o el modo multijugador que según la rarezas de tus nfts te gastara mas o menos x fuel según tu equipamiento ( gestiona bien ). Es por eso que debes saber que nfts tengas equipados para poder obtener recompensas en la temporada. Igual puedes jugar sin combustible pero no te darán recompensas.
Algo que he notado en las partidas es que se demora un buen tiempo para encontrar oponentes así que ten paciencia.
En cuanto a sus controles son básicos (mover con las flechas y derrapar con la barra espaciadora, tecla I para usar poder ), eso si asegura de que tu carro tenga buen manejo ( eso se lo puedes mejorar con los nfts que compres )

Ya por ultimo cada vez que termine una carrera te dará unos puntos y eso te servirá para escalar en la liga y así obtener mejores tokens en la temporada.
MOON KARTS promete mucho, esperemos que mas usuarios se vayan sumando día a día. Algo bueno es que el proyecto esta muy nuevo en este ecosistema así que algunos nfts están económicos en el mercado y pienso que es un momento bueno para entrar, como también que están dentro de ARCADE COLONY lo que nos da esperanza.
