I played it back in the day, when it was new. I remember it being fun. I also bought it again in one of these sales, at GOG instead of Steam. I loaded it up, excited to play something I remember enjoying. And.... then I was bored out of my mind ten minutes in. Go figure 😃 I haven't returned to it since, but maybe one of these days I should give it another try.
It can be a very slow grind and the mechanics can be tedious.
I didn't specifically mention it but the FX version allows you to do things much faster... like build 5x5 rooms with a single click so you don't have to spam clicks a million times just to build out the dungeon.
