You know the only game series I've been playing for many years? Yes, as you can imagine, this series is Assassin's Creed. I'm just kidding, it's not the only game series I've played for years, but Assassin's Creed is one of the series I've followed and played for many years, Assassin's Creed IP is very valuable to me. The reason is that I love the Assassin theme and Assassin's Creed 2 is one of the games that I really love to play. Yeah, maybe they've really messed things up in the last few years but I still love it, maybe I'm a fanboy, who knows xD.
Jokes aside, I really like this series. I've been away from the series for a few years, but last year I really enjoyed playing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Odyssey. Strengthen your character, loot, grind, level up, and farm good items. I love this cycle, most players find it very boring, but I love the loot box mechanic. I want to see and feel my progress in games and the strength of my character, so I like what Ubisoft has done for Assassin's Creed "for now", no matter how many players complain.
Except for this game, I bought and played the last two Assassin's Creed games, but I didn't just buy Origins, I thought my 1050ti graphics card would be insufficient for Origins because I heard that the PC port of the game is pretty bad and not well optimized. A month ago, when I saw that the game was added to the Xbox Game Pass library, I took a break from all the games I played and started playing Assassin's Creed: Origins.
As for Assassin's Creed: Origins' story, as most of you know, the game tells about Egyptian mythology and we play in Egypt in the years before Christ. Our character, Bayek, is a Medjay tasked with protecting Siwa, the region he resides in. That's why he introduces himself as Bayek of Siwa wherever you go. The Medjay mission is a very sacred and important mission, and wherever we go, the Egyptian people respect us and ask us for help in solving all their problems. Because we are good angel, we help all the oppressed and kill the oppressors. But as you can imagine, our help to the Egyptian people and the Siwa people is a side mission. The main goal of the game is to destroy all members of a group called the Order of the Ancients.
One of the members of the Order of the Ancients, Pharaoh Ptolemy killed Bayek's little son, Khemu, and we are going after Ptolemy to take revenge on him. The story goes like this: The Order of the Ancients and Ptolemy kidnap Bayek's son Khemu in order to reach a sacred chest in the temple of Amun, and the boy is killed when he does not open the chest.
Even if we kill Pharaoh Ptolemy, we understand that all members of the Order of the Ancients actually planned to kill Khemu, and we find and kill all Order of the Ancients bosses one by one. In the game, the Order of the Ancients group is called "Snake" and we have a boss fight with Snake later in the game. Anyway, I don't want to give too many spoilers about the game so I won't tell you everything because I want you to play the game so I don't want to spoil the story with spoilers.
The story of Assassin's Creed: Origins was briefly like this. Since I was on the last main missions before Trial of Gods, I couldn't shoot a long gameplay video, so I recorded my boss fight with one of the main mission bosses, Venator. I've been playing the game for about 30-35 hours and I can say that it was the most fun and most challenging boss battle I've ever done in Assassin's Creed: Origins. I literally felt like I was playing Dark Souls, it was crazy!
We take part in Cleopatra's war unit, which includes our character Bayek and his wife Aya. One of the members of the Order of the Ancients group, the invader and terrorist Venator, with his troops, raids the place where Cleopatra is located to kill her, and attacks everyone in the area, including civilians. Our character Bayek and his wife Aya fight all the enemies to defend Cleopatra. After killing all the enemies, Venator appears in front of Bayek as the boss and starts to attack. Aya and other Cleopatra units cannot be included in the boss fight. After killing Venator alone, we set off with Aya to find Septimius, the real culprit who kidnapped and imprisoned Bayek's son, Khemu.
I played like a noob in the video, sorry for that but I got a little excited while recording the game xD. I really had a lot of fun preparing this post, I hope you have fun reading it too. :) I'm so glad you read my post, thanks for stopping by!
One of the better AC for the series I feel. Black flag was solid and so was and 3 was good because of the revolutionary war.
AC 3 is one of my favorite AC games, black flag is beautiful but every time I start it I quit the game before I finish it.
