I wanted to update you on what I have done since I started playing Valheim but got hijacked and my character got reincarnated to HiveGaming Valheim Server instead.

???, I am just as confused as you.

Valheim, a game about Vikings, doing Viking things.

And now we have our very own HiveGaming Valheim Server!

And so I switched from my singleplayer to the HiveGaming Server.

It's the same old start with nothing but the clothes in your back. but this time armed with knowledge.

As I don't want to bore you with the sameshittu all over again like my previous post I'm going make a sort of guide.

The Important Stuff

Health and Stamina.

basically:
Health : if it goes 0, your character is very dead.
Stamina: any non-basic action costs stamina.

different types of food affects your health and stamina in different way.
They also have different healing per tick and Durations.
yeah, I noticed meat gives more health, and vegetables gives more stamina.
Base Health is 25, while Base Stamina is 50.

Shouting and making yourself known.

In-game Chatting is proximity based, so you use the Shout function (/s {message}) which is also proximity based.
~~yeah ignore the banter in which we compare our houses' size like we are comparing the size of our eggplants.~~

Making your location known to other players.

Open the map by pressing 'M' key, then on the bottom right side, there is a tickbox that writes 'visible to other players', tick that.

Crafting & Building.

Start by pressing 'Tab', it will show you your inventory. then look to right side and you can craft the most basic of tools which includes the hammer.
Note: you can find your weight limit on the inventory on the left.

Now let's assume you have the hammer and equipped it. now press the right mouse button.

you will now be presented with the build screen. take note of the 'workbench' being selected. now create a workbench. if you do you are now able to build a shelter/house.

Important: you can only use the workbench when it is housed.
you can repair your tools on a workbench.
you can craft high end stuff with a workbench.
you need to build other crafting furniture to increase your workbench level.

Settings a Respawn Location.

when your character dies it respawns to the last saved respawn point.

First you need to build a bed.

then you claim the bed and viola "Spawn point set". (it probably needs a roof and walls as well)
If every player in the server sleeps at night. it will skip it until morning.

And that pretty much sums up the basics.

other tips would be 'resting', sitting in a comfortable place such as a house for less than a minute will yield a stamina regeneration bonus that will last for a few minutes.
