A few weeks ago I've been seeing posts about the game Moon Karts. I took a look at them but wasn't convinced to start playing it, because I didn't understand much about it.
Yesterday, a friend recommended me to try the game, explaining its mechanics and showing me that it is still possible to compete in the ranking at this stage. Also, it's a fun game to play with friends in the ranked format, so I'm trying to convince some of them to join.

Hace unas semanas he estado viendo publicaciones sobre el juego Moon Karts. Les eché un vistazo pero no estaba convencido de comenzar a jugarlo, porque no entendia mucho acerca de él.
Ayer, un amigo me recomendó probar el juego, explicándome sus mecánicas y mostrándome que aún es posible competir en el ranking a esta altura. Además, es un juego divertido para jugar con amigos en el formato de ranked, así que estoy tratando de convencer a algunos para que se unan.
I registered on the official Moon Kart website and entered the menu of the video game. I found that I didn't have a driver or a car.
At first I was a bit lost, I thought I needed to buy all the car parts to be able to start playing, be it the exhaust, engine, wheels, etc.
So I bought the cheapest parts on the market to see if that was the case. When I put the cheapest kart, I realized that I could only put one performance part, so I decided to put the engine.
Me registré en la página oficial de Moon Kart e ingresé al menu del videojuego. Me encontré con que no tenia un conductor ni un coche.
Al principio estaba un poco perdido, pensé que necesitaba comprar todas las piezas del coche para poder comenzar a jugar, ya sea el escape, el motor, las ruedas, etc.
Asi que compré las piezas mas baratas que habia en el mercado para comprobar si era asi. Al poner el kart más barato, me di cuenta que solo podia poner una pieza de las prestaciones, asi que me decidi por poner el motor.
I managed to put together a super simple preset and challenged a friend to a race. My friend got more than a lap ahead of me in the race, because his car performance was vastly superior and I was having trouble turning with the car.
After such a humiliation, I decided to buy a new driver and a new car. I found a $2.5 gold car and a rare quality driver for a few cents. Now my vehicle had better performance and I was hoping that I could at least turn in the corners.
Logré armar un preset super simple y reté a una carrera a un amigo. Mi amigo me saco más de una vuelta de ventaja en la carrera, porque sus prestaciones de coche eran ampliamente superiores y yo tenia problemas para poder doblar con el coche.
Despues de semajante humillación, decidi comprarme un nuevo conductor y un coche nuevo. Encontré un coche gold a 2.5$ y un conductor de calidad rara por unos cuantos centimos. Ahora mi vehiculo contaba con mejores prestaciones y esperaba que por lo menos pueda doblar en las curvas.
Again I challenged my friend to another race, hoping to take the race. This time I was able to take the win because now my car was turning and going a little faster than before.
I continued to play a couple more races, running into various users, most with cars vastly superior to mine. I had to settle for second place.
Luckily, the game rewards you for placing second, so I climbed up the rankings as I raced on the different tracks in the game. Thanks to this, I made it to the N°12 ranking this past season, so I'm looking forward to collecting the winnings to upgrade my car.
Nuevamente desafié a mi amigo a otra carrera, con la esperanza de poder hacerme con la carrera. Esta vez me pude hacer con la victoria debido a que ahora mi coche si doblaba e iba un poco más rápido que antes.
Seguí jugando un par de carreras más, encontrándome con diversos usuarios, la mayoría con coches ampliamente superiores al mío. Me tocaba conformarme con el segundo puesto.
Por suerte, el juego te recompensa por quedar en segundo lugar, asi que fui escalando en el ranking a medida que iba corriendo en los diferentes circuitos del juego. Gracias a esto, logré llegar al ranking N°12 de esta última temporada, asi que estoy esperando a recoger las ganancias para mejorar mi coche.
Conclusion
After spending a few hours playing the game, I've noticed some positive aspects as well as a few negatives. Positive Points:- Matchmaking is fast, there are always players available.
- There is a variety of tracks, helping to keep the game from becoming repetitive.
- The game's performance is optimal, with no performance or connection issues.
- There is strong competition for ranking rewards.
- It's fun to play with friends.
Conclusion
Luego de viciar algunas horas al videojuego, he llegado a notar ciertas cosas positivas y alguna que otra negativa. Puntos positivos:- El matchmaking es rapido, siempre hay gente para jugar.
- Hay diversidad de circuitos, ayudando a que el juego no se vuelva repetitivo.
- El rendimiento del juego es óptimo, no presenta problemas de rendimiento ni de conexión.
- Hay una buena competitividad por llevarse las recompensas en el ranking.
- Divertido para jugar contra amigos.
Negative Points:
- Starting the game can be quite confusing, as there are no prior explanations or clear instructions on what to do.
- Purchasing packs and navigating the marketplace can also be a bit confusing, as they blend with elements from other games.
Puntos negativos:
Comenzar en el videojuego es bastante confuso, no hay una explicación previa ni indicaciones claras sobre qué hacer.
La compra de packs y el marketplace tienden a ser un poco confusos, mezclan elementos de otros videojuegos.
