Exploring Hollow Knight can have consequences.

How to lose 4 hours just admiring the landscape that this game has or going through each of the dungeons while you remember the way because you don't have the map yet

All these experiences seem to me to lead to one thing, playing it is very entertaining and surprisingly calming, if I want to get home after a hard day of work my method of relaxation is this game

Of course there are moments of stress, especially when you are learning something new about the environment or you are trying to get past one of those bosses that you have to go back to multiple times until you understand their attacks

Or when you get lost and you don't know what to do anymore, that's when I think about a lot of things, about whether to go back to the surface or to speed up and get lost even more until I find something interesting

and I always find something, because one of the strengths of this game is that you're always running into something new, some new interaction with a character that's hidden or some new way to interact

In this little tour that I took over the weekend, I not only defeated the boss that was making my life impossible, but I also discovered a couple of things more

On the one hand, the larvae, which are small insects that are hidden and trapped in some vessels from which we must free them, I am not sure what they do or will do in the future but every time I find one I free it.

On the other hand, I found my second character of the game, a monster that is in a cave and seems to be a hunter. Like us? that would explain why we are killing all the fauna in these caves for no reason

But the point is that she gives us a notebook where we can write down our biggest catches, a little further down from this are some mini bosses that I think is what the monster is referring to

It was very hard to learn the patterns of that creature but in the end I beat it and wrote it in the journal, but when I continued I came across a dead end that I couldn't get past, we'll see in the future to see if we can get further

I almost forgot to mention that I have a new power added to the arsenal and it is the dash that I'm still learning how to use it but it works very well in combat to avoid enemies that are fast and also to move more agilely along the path, it changes 360 degrees how you interpret the platforms and the jumps although there are more

Also in this session I have found a new type of enemy and it is a crab that seems to me to be indestructible but that is quite useful to pass over the acid lakes that are in this second stage

It turns out that these creatures are in the lake for a good reason and that is that we use their shell to pass, but keeping the attack button and calculating well so that we do not fall into the acid and have to start all over again again

These are moments where Hollow Knight expands what you can do and adds skills, which I think is what it wants you to do, to explore, to have all the places noted on the map but also to realize the movements you can make and from there curiosity is our driving force

I can and surely will make more posts about this game because I'm not even close to finishing it but I think it's a good exercise to make these comments when they are fresh in my head

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, SEE YOU
