Pumping Rookie Numbers - Crownrend Flip + Contest 📜🛡️⚔️

These last few days I couldn't avoid but to throw some HIVE at @crownrend . Why? I enjoy a lot the layout and am kinda addicted, it's very simple and intuitive. Another reason? HIVE is just too cheap now < 0.3 USD and currently today at 0.22. While that Crownrend tokens market cap looks undervalued as well, so there is nothing else to do besides that... More reason? I see some hype around it.

Was saving and unstaking to buy into another NFT project but it actually comes into hand to have a reserve of opportunity... Trying to get into the habit of making savings and Crownrend is making it difficult, but for what are savings if not to reinvest at these times, right?!

Ok. It happened that DENAR was already looking cheap on 03/March, (I know cause was writing a transactions journal for savings on drafts). It was displaying around 500 USD market cap and with around -50% variation, so I had to convert HIVE and buy 500 DENAR for around 0.0109 to 0.0147 DENAR/SWAP.HIVE to try my luck with at least 5 chests. Not winning much. Followed by another ~10 SWAP.HIVE to buy more chests. That indeed wasn't the cheapest because of DENAR inflation!! Going for it anyway. So I was able to buy a total of 12 chests and spent some 20 HIVE or so. I know that probably previous people invested for higher prices, so I won't say how unlucky I was there with only 3 RARES!! Lol

At Mar/07 DENAR was so cheap again at a 0.00907 HIVE lol that I decided to buy 10 more chests (around 9 HIVE), I don't want to let it pass... I hate this average price stuff that people measure at the stock market, but am willing to do that here... Crypto market may correct even more this month, but then I expect a rebound pullback to bullrun...

This flop was interesting cause got 5.53 Trade power, which gives a 30% boost over base income DENAR (for each 1 trade power) using mine lvl value as reference, I got a lot of tax efficiency before and got a good increase now, which also acts with 10% (for each 1 tax efficiency) over mine income production...

No help trying to predict stuff here... I don't understand that much about DENAR tokenomics to tell the truth...

1000000607.png

At Mar/09 another -5 HIVE to buy 1000 DENAR (0.005 DENAR/HIVE), at this point I can't explain myself anymore. Got an epic! Awesome. I don't even want to sell DENAR, but actually increase vault level to be able to claim more, since I can earn way more DENAR now with buffs...

Even bought some ORI through bids to complement and form an alliance! I actually got it at a good price like 0.05 ORI for 0.350 HIVE and bought the rest (0.05) at market, since already had 0.15 by burning cards.

It's getting kinda interesting because my strategy will also depend on the cards flopped. Gladly I also need no reason to ape FOMO

Well, I actually also bought a legendary card for 9 HIVE (a Library!), which was the cheapest and what made the most sense for trade power buff. Having some fun here.

I definitely needed to up vault lvl now and bought more 200 for 1.05 HIVE and upgraded 3 lvls. I'll try to increase mine lvl to farm since its the base math for trade power and tax efficiency. I can up everything by 50% doing that from lvl 2 to 3 (0.0002 -> 0.0003 DENAR/s). HIVE was already at the bottom today at 0.23 USD, a great time to buy low.

Today Mar/10

Dang, I felt like buying another 30 Crownrend chests at U$0.22 HIVE. Lets see... I mean, at this point fuck it, right? I mean, the intention is to get into the highest lvl of utilitarianism here lol. I actually flopped 25 chests and got 2 epics! Good enough. Used others 500 to buff mine and vault lvl, besides some toughness.

1000000693.gif

It was a good buff, got into around #80 rank. The deal is that I noticed that there is a moat to top 50, and even more to top 30 and then even way more to top 10, like big gaps.

I just kept feeling the urge to reinvest there, yah know... It turns out I was lucky with trade power and tax efficiency, also with strength and tactics. Which is good since I can steal more DENAR, also cause tactics already counters speed. While to increase toughness and my own speed seems the most important to avoid stolen DENAR, well, I think so.

All that is making way easier to buff attributes and if DENAR/HIVE parity exchange ratio goes down again, let's say 0.002, I'll just buy way more chests, not minding to double down here...

Making somewhat a crosspost for @emrebeyler Crownrend's contest...

https://peakd.com/crownrend/@emrebeyler/crownrend-gameplay-ideas-contest-75k-denar-prize-pool

...'ll give some honest suggestions of what I missed on it.

Well, I didn't dislike anything in particular, but I'd like more chests options with higher chances for rarities, more % chances for epics, legendaries, mythical and ancient. Even if they have higher costs...

I have to think at stuffs that are practical and not out of sight for devs, because having images for items would be interesting, but actually too much to do, but maybe idk, somewhat a map that displays what has equipped in your kingdom could be nice. Ok, forget about that one...

Interesting suggestion Imho, have translations for it available, like for Chinese, they are the most spenders in games, even above US, these two far beyond others, but maybe also others translation, also maybe some cheap/organic ways to market the game into China that is doing MMT going to crypto, or Singapore that supports web 3. I mean, Idk, I think the Asian market is not much explored and has lots of space... Even though I heard that paid traffic for targeted public with key words has better conversion... Weird stuff in China is that they probably would need vpn and would be weird to market on some main social channel... No idea. I heard Singapore has subsidies for web 3 though...

Hey, I had some fun idea that could work, maybe some battle royale mode tourney with prizes, so it runs automatically with kingdoms facing themselves randomly until achieving classifications spots, it may have an entry fee in DENAR and burning mechanism... That could be kinda hilarious. It may have an alliance co-op mode too maybe.

Another idea, maybe we could craft combo inventory items of the same sort to increase rarity or it could even fail to craft and turn into ORI anyway, like a burn. It's tough for me to give opinions that would already change the game's basis, like having items that would give more chances into crafting... That could probably turn unfair somehow by "changing the rules", like, I didn't want to suggest items to use in chests chances due it... So Idk, not taking this too serious yah know, just have some fun also... They are doing some great work already.

If I could add anything to this last idea could be the option of needing a "blueprint" to craft buildings (that could be soulbound or not), and could require more than 2 cards for it... Like combining... I still like the idea of chance of failing and burning it for ORI, somewhat a roguelike element...

To earn blueprints it could be through weekly missions like, "make X raids"; "make X interceptions (I guess few)"; "Give X Critical hits (or in %)"; "Upgrade Stats X times"; "Improve vault lvl"; "Open X chests". It doesn't need to be much, I actually would prefer if were not that many lol, of course my opinion doesn't matter... And honestly, it could have some divisions of missions by league and blueprints amount because there is some big disparity between kingdoms overall stats...

I think the same for the battle royale tourney idea to have divisions, or would simply get into similar results most of the times, maybe? Also, I know that would be indeed too much, but I'd think would be awesome to see tourney results in a table like, more roguelike elements, 2 kingdoms face each other and 1 wins, when it passes it goes to a (?) icognito round where it could earn some bount in DENAR, a momentary buff in some stat or a debuff by random chances, so it actually start to have many chances of what would happen at the end...

Thank you for hosting this, @emrebeyler !!

Dang, I kept flipping and need to share this one!!!

You get a vote for the Goku GIF's alone!! Well done

But also nice article too ;)

Thank you, I had to correct some infos about base income through mine lvl acting on trade power and tax efficiency, your tutorial was very helpful btw, thank you!!

YAY I am glad. I do need to update my Guide now that you mention it though, so thanks for reminding me :)

Now I get why my rank keeps going down 😅 I'm only reinvesting what I get from the game itself, so I can't compete with super-powers (or super-kingdoms?) like yours !LOL Well done!

Lol, yeah, I was also getting passed doing the same, but it was just turning each time cheaper to flip some chests... Chances aren't that good, so it was actually a good deal to buy the legendary card for 9 HIVE... I think I'd need to spend higher on chests to have equivalent attributes buff... I'm still using 2 common cards and planning to flip more if the parity turns cheaper again...

Anyway, NFA, I also like to be net positive, which is easier with initial investment. But actually at current prices and my farm ratio break even would be in 55 days or so... If it devalues then it would take longer, but then I'd double bet for an upside after it...

I'm way below "super" and gifs are just for fun lol. Thanks!!

!PIZZA

9 HIVE for a legendary is a great deal right now: I'll keep an eye on the market to see if I can find a similar deal!

55 days to break even is quite good, but with idle games I'm always scared by the possibility of strong drops in assets' and tokens' value, so I usually refrain from investing money, unless I'm reinvesting what I'm earning from the game itself. This means I can never compete with stronger players, though.

Yeah, the game inflation indeed looks high, I mentioned it once, and that's kinda implicit lol, maybe it's an impulsive buying and not so rational... Not some certain math for sure... It's very tough to math if is much possible to increase farm ratio above the issued ratio to have some real gain... I like doing arbitrages in some games, didn't find a way for that one yet...
