Today in this post, I'll provide some ideas and tricks for Individual instructions. How can you use these alternatives to help your squad and score easily?
To assign these instructions, navigate to the Manager Icon in the Game Plan menu. Here, you can allocate up to four different players to two offensive and two defensive instructions. This flexibility allows you to tailor your team's tactics to your playing style and the demands of each match.

There are two types of Individual instructions :
- Offensive Instructions
- Defensive Instructions
You can set 2 players for each instruction.
Offensive Instructions:
In offensive instruction, you will find 3 modes to select.
Anchoring : This mode is better for the DMF or the CMF position players. The player stays centrally positioned, which means if you set your DMF player in this mode, he will create a strong defense at midfield, avoiding side-to-side movements. Both the central and defensive midfielders will maintain their position at midfield to control the tempo of the game.
Attacking : The player adopts a more attacking role, staying higher up the pitch and focusing on offensive performance. This instruction is suitable for players who can create spaces in the opponent's defense. And AMF position player is perfect for this mode. He will try to sneak past the opponent's defenders so that he can create an opportunity for the stickers.
Defensive : The player drops back to assist in defense when your team loses possession, providing additional defensive support. This is beneficial for players who can contribute both offensively and defensively. My suggestion you use this mode for CMF players so that they will help you in offense and defense.
Defensive Instructions
Tight Marking : The selected defender closely monitors an opposing player, reducing their influence on the game. This instruction is effective against key opponents who are central to the opposing team's strategy.
Man Marking : The player is assigned to follow a specific opponent throughout the match, ensuring they are always under pressure. This is particularly useful against players who frequently find space or are pivotal to the opponent's attack.
Counter Target : The player stays forward, ready to exploit counter-attacking opportunities, rather than dropping back to assist in defense. This is advantageous for fast forwards who can capitalize on quick transitions.
Deep Line : The player drops deeper into the defensive line, providing additional support during defensive situations. This is useful for midfielders who can help in defense without compromising offensive capabilities.
Now let me show you one of my gameplay using these Individual instructions and see whether it boosted my team's attacking or not.

The match was against a player called CR7BoosKing. The name was very weird. But his collective strength made me a little worried.

I was using the 4-1-1-4, a perfect formation that helps you counter your opponent with ease. Decided to go with the offensive playing with AMF position player KD Bruyen in attacking mode and My DMF player put on an Anchoring mood. And then in defending instruction I always prefer to use the Counter-target mood for both of the players.
The match was started. From the beginning my team was playing was more better than previous. The LWF Robert Pires, who was in counter-attack mode, was playing aggressively. He was trying to cut into the goal positions.
Phil Foden from the RWF position also acted effectively in the match. Trying to distract the opponent's defenders. Whenever ever gets a chance, he cuts inside the D-box and creates chances to score. In the 10th minute of the match, Phil Foden provides a nice lofted pass from the right side that finds the head of Fernando Torres. He gives a nice touch there but the opponent goalkeeper was alert to it.
About twenty minutes into the game, Robert Pires, who had been pushing hard to score, found the perfect moment to make his move. Even though he was playing as a left winger, he cut inside from the left midfield to kick off a quick counterattack. The defender, Van Dijk, came in with a tough tackle, but Pires kept his cool, regained possession, and then calmly chipped the ball over both the defenders and the goalkeeper, sending it into the back of the net. What a finish!
It didn’t take long for me to score again in this match, and once more, it was all thanks to the magic of Robert Pires. The pass he gave was unreal! That perfectly weighted low-lofted ball was spot on, right into the path of Fernando Torres in the striker position. Torres made a brilliant move, easily controlled it, and slotted it into the back of the net. What a team effort!
The opponent understood very clearly that he was not going to win the match against my team. So he didn't waste his time and quit the match after I scored the second goal. 😆
That is all for today's post. I hope you understand how helpful the "Individual instructions" are and how to utilize them in matches. This will surely boost your team and help you score goals easily against your opponent.
