Now that I was decently powerful it was time to get some major farming underway. The first phase was to farm Cabal of Wind Temple and convert materials into weapons. Then I'd sell those weapons for gold bars. Finally, I was going to head into a new region and get some performing done for the main questline of building a city.

One thing I'm going to need a decent amount of is food. The best way I found to get enough is just going around in a giant circle around a lake. I’d be making about a dozen food items from this single run. Keeping me stocked up for a while.
I was now stocked up on Ocean Fricassee which would give me some much-needed regen. Next up I cleared a path from the town to Cabal Of Wind Temple. I’d be making quite a few runs back and forth. Sometimes I'd need to reclean the path. I knew on my return trips I'd be quite weak and easy to kill.

The fun part of this place is you can pull a lever on the top area that causes exposure down below in the main pit area. It usually kills anything down there. So, I already had free material I needed waiting for me.
All the gates down below are closed to keep this place from being too easy. While I could kill these creatures myself. If I was close to getting killed all I had to do was drag them into that room before they finished me off. Then I'd come back and set off the traps in that area again.

Next up was the part of clearing down there. There is also a side door that I'd have unlocked so that I could enter the temple. I however prefer just clearing down a path.
I then just needed to go around opening all the gates and clearing out each of the wings. Running anything, I did not think I could finish off to the center. Then coming back and taking it out with traps.
I did get killed quite a few times down here. That is why I had a massive stockpile of food. I even had to at one point go back out fishing for more food. Thankfully it’s such an easy place to do that it was quite quick to do.

All of this was for the last crafting ingredient I needed. That was Horror Chitin that dropped off the big guys. The horrors also drop some bones I'd need as well if it was not for already having a massive stockpile of them.
I had most of everything else I needed. I already had been just hording away not knowing they would come in handy at some point. The only expectation was two-handed weapons. So, any time I was back in town I'd hit up the blacksmith and buy out his entire stock of them.

Next up I crafted two-handed fang weapons. I then turned those into two-handed horror weapons. These weapons alone sell for 750 silver each. However, if I take them into the desert to the city in that region, they pay a nice 900 silver each instead. That region has some crazy inflation.
I also ended up picking up a house there for 500 silvers. That made it easy to just get all the weapons I had out of storage. I’m rather glad I did not need to do any further quests to unlock a house to buy there.

I ended up losing track of how many runs of the temple I ended up doing. I did however make out huge. I ended up trading the weapons plus anything else I already had for 96 gold bars (worth 9.6k silver) and 10k raw silver as well.
I’m hoping this will help a long way to the rebuilding I'll be doing next. I have no idea how much silver it’s going to cost. I do know there are other items I'll be needing. So, it was time to start farming up what little of those I could as well.

One region I had not been in yet was Caldera and that is where the main storyline is taking me next. It also turns out this place was going to be far more confusing than I was expecting. One of the dungeons rotates around the map where you can enter and exit over time. So, I ended up not being where I thought I was on the map being quite lost.

I was looking for a bunch of unidentified nodes to mine. I then get to open and hope they have what I need inside. On my first run around this region, I only got a couple of each. I also ran out of supplies and could not find anywhere to sell. So, I had to leave the region.
I even ended up finding some copal. I know there is a blacksmith in the forest region who can make gear out of this stuff. He however requires a decent amount. I have no idea how good the gear is. I just hope it has some heat resistance to it.

While the days here are not as brutal as the desert. They do not get quite as hot. Thankfully I also have an ice torch that can cool down the user. I only have a couple of those and have not discovered a crafting recipe if there is one to make my own.
Final Thoughts

Caldera happens to be part of one of the DLCs I got with the definitive edition of the game. Most of my experience in that region has only been during the night time since during the day I was hiding out in a couple of dungeons.
I’ve also just been getting murdered in that region. It looks like I might have to uncover how to do item enchanting to beef up my weapon and armor. I’m also hoping I can find some upgrades in this region as well.
I’ll need to make quite a few trips into this new region to get more samples of different things. Hopefully, I'll also find someplace to sell it it sucked having to leave stuff behind or scrap it into iron.

It looks like the game has two map, the place where the real action is and the other where you upgrade your weapons and get new ones if am correct.
There are a few zones in this game. It's just a bit slow going with everything wanting to kill me.
Hmmm what if you try to avoid everything that wants ti kill you or run away from them is that possible,?
