I’ve mostly ever played MM6 although it’s tempting to play some of the some ones at some point.
I did try MM9 a long time ago. It was quite buggy and bad. I believe the studio went under and that is when they got bought out by Ubisoft.
I had high hopes for MMX with the promises that were made before the release. They fell quite short. Then the game was unplayable for quite some time due to Ubisoft trying to save a buck. They shut down authentication services for all their DRM stuff killing a few games in the process that stopped working to do DRM bugs.
Aye, nowadays the Might&Magic franchise is a mess, sadly. Don't think I'll ever buy one that Ubisoft publishes unless they really change things around.
Ubisoft and Bethesda need to turn themselves around. There are games that look like I’d be interested in. Then I’ll see one of the made it. I’ve had enough bad experiences to have much hope at this point when either of them are involved in a game.
