Además de estos modos de juego también hay uno que se llama modo batalla, se trata de que cada uno de nuestros personajes tiene tres globos los cuales si los perdemos ganaría nuestro contrincante, estos globos pueden ir desapareciendo al recibir golpes tanto del enemigo como uno mismo, es un modo de juego muy entretenido al igual que el modo versus. Se puede jugar de 2 a 4 personas.
En el modo contrarreloj podremos recorrer los circuitos, intentando mejorar nuestra experiencia y habilidad al volante, para ello comenzaremos estas tres vueltas, con tres turbos que nos permitirán ir más rápido, para finalmente hacer un buen tiempo. Al final de esta vuelta podrás competir contra la sombra de ti mismo, lo que aumenta aún más la situación en la que te encuentras y te puede hacer mejor piloto, ya que en cada vuelta te vas superando a ti mismo.

En este juego hay diferentes objetos que iremos lanzando y recogiendo a lo largo de cada vuelta de gran premio, entre ellos podemos conseguir las tortugas verdes que debemos apuntar nosotros mismos y buscar la mejor cobertura con el vehículo contrario para ir acercándonos a él y dejándolo atrás. También están los caparazones rojos, estos vienen en dos versiones, vienen caparazón triple, estos son capaces de alcanzar a tu oponente donde quiera que este, pueden seguirlo, pueden escalar algunas partes y en otras no son muy efectivos para alcanzar y escalar posiciones sobre todo cuando estas en la parte trasera de la carrera. Por último, también tienes un proyectil individual.
También hay un proyectil azul, que es el más potente del juego, ya que si estás en la última posición puedes lanzarlo y hará su recorrido hasta que finalmente llegue al vehículo que está en primera posición, para golpearlo, quitarle velocidad y permitirte alcanzarlo.

Este juego la verdad es que es bastante adictivo y aun a mis 40 años sigo jugando a esta franquicia de la consola Nintendo 64 espero que puedan disfrutarlo en casa nos vemos en una futura publicación hasta luego amigos.
