I'm sorry i've been inactive lately because i was busy and... Uhh, nevermind.
But hey, i have something fun to show u. Yesterday was my free time and i played Minecraft. But it's not just Minecraft, this is Minecraft Education edition! This is the game where we can play and learn coding. It's perfect for kids and teenagers above age 7.
It looks fun so i downloaded it. U can also download it in PC and mobile. It's like a free version of Minecraft, but limited. To unlock full game, it's required a Microsoft 365 account from ur school. Well, i don't understand how to sign up with school account yet, so i just play with demo version. Oh, if u know how to sign up, u can tell me in comment section :D
Yep, these are the demo lessons. We can play them without sign up. Btw, i chose the "Hour of Code : AI"
After i read the description, it said a village is threatened by fire and needs my help. Hmm... think about it, will i get the role as a firefighter here? Or will i program the AI robot to help them? Let's check it out!
Here i am, in the front of the gate. Oh, looks like i go to the fire research center. I think i will learn about fire and what causes it. Look, there's a helper bot on the right of the gate.
It said it'll be happy to help me skip or reset the quests if i get stuck. Haha, thanks helper bot! But i don't need ur help yet, im gonna try the quests myself. Im sure those aren't too difficult.
On the left side, there's an NPC, uhh i mean... It's researcher! The first quest is to talk to her. (Wait... Her or him?)
Ohh i see, so i must use code to open this gate. I have to click the agent icon (beside pause button) to start coding and open the gate.
I just have to drag the code like this and then click the play button. Let's see how it works.
Ohh it worked! The gate has opened. It's easy-peasy!
Next quest, i must talk to the engineer for another coding.
I got a new friend, the Agent! So, my second quest is to move this little guy 3 steps forward using codes.
Like i did before, i just have to drag the code into the "on start" and set the number of steps. It's so easy!
Next... I must talk to another researcher for the third quest. What could it be?
I see, it's still about to make this little guy walking. And then analyze the dry bush towards him. This is the first way to learn about fire hazard. Wait, i'm a bit confused, why does he say "dry brush" instead of "dry bush"?
It's kinda different than before. I placed 2 codes into the "on start" so this little guy can do multiple things at the same time.
Okay, next, i think i should go to another place. They said i should find the technician on the top of the tower.
I wonder why should i climb this tower to find him. Am i gonna code the Agent in my next quest so he can fly? Is it possible? XD
Ohh i got it now, so this is Agent's first training. I just need to code him and see his movements from here. I thought i should make him fly haha. Well, to make it easy, i chose the short path.
These are the mini mazes. I think it requires more coding so i can make this little guy walk and turn to pass through the maze.
Yeah, more coding. Honestly i feel like i'm a real programmer right now. Lmao
Oh it's not too difficult as i thought. This little guy passed through the maze perfectly.
Okay, next quest is find the head of research.
