Los antivirus son una de las herramientas que más recomiendan para proteger nuestro computador de futuros ataques y programas maliciosos, con la finalidad de tener seguro todos nuestros archivos e información personal en todo momento, sin embargo, hay quienes indican que no es recomendable instalar este tipo de programas en un computador dedicado a videojuegos o también llamados PC gamer, esto hace que muchos tomen la apresurada decisión de desinstalarlo, e inclusive otros dudan en instalarlo haciendo que se pregunten ¿es realmente necesario tener un antivirus?

Al momento de instalar dicho programa siempre se estará ejecutando en segundo plano, motivado a que de manera constante (dependiendo del tipo de configuración) siempre estará escaneando nuestro computador, es decir, al abrir una carpeta de archivos, meternos en una página de internet, insertar un dispositivo de almacenamiento, entre otras cosas.

En resumen, el antivirus sigue siendo una excelente forma de proteger al computador, pero con sus consecuencias, si eres un gamer exigente y a su vez te gusta estar protegido te recomiendo buscar un antivirus que consuma bajos recursos y que tenga una opción que te permita activar un modo juego o también llamado acelerador de juegos, para que pueda optimizar el programa y no te perjudique los FPS de tus videojuegos favoritos.
