Resident Evil is undoubtedly one of the most famous franchises in the universe of video games, each of its installments has a special touch of suspense and terror, especially in the first installments, where you can also find many curiosities, references and some interesting secrets, today we remember a very special one, it is the photograph of Rebecca Chambers in Resident Evil 2.
As many already know, Rebecca is one of the secondary characters in the first installment of the saga, being sometimes an assistant to the protagonist named Chris Redfield, but once the events of the mansion culminated, no more news of her in the second installment called Resident Evil 2, however, there is a way to see her through a photograph, something that very few in those days believed possible.
Before the myth became a reality, an official PlayStation magazine wanted to troll all Resident Evil 2 players, claiming through texts and images the possibility of playing with Akuma in that game, this was denied implying that it was a simple joke. After this many players of this videogame were skeptical of any secret shown in any magazine about that game.
Shortly after, a small Easter Egg was revealed showing the beautiful Rebecca Chambers, however, few considered it was possible, since it was necessary to look at Albert Wesker's desk 50 times. After the joke of playing with Akuma, many overlooked this "secret" but for those who took the trouble to check that it was true, they were in for a surprise, since after reading the same message for more than 50 times the game gives you a roll of photography.
This was to be developed in the darkroom, at the end of the process could be seen Rebecca with a sports recruit outfit and a basketball. Many wonder what Albert Wesker was doing with a roll of photograph of this character on his desk, an answer that we will never know, since officially nothing has ever been said about it, however, fans give the theory that possibly Wesker felt a kind of attraction for the beautiful Rebecca.
In the Resident Evil 2 Remake many expected this Easter Egg, something that was confirmed after some time after the game was released, but the way in which the roll of photography was very different, instead of looking 50 times at the Albert's desk we simply have to open a drawer, pick up an object inside and then look in detail in it again, we can see a small roll of photography in one of its corners.
As expected, the photography is completely renewed, with a more detailed Rebecca, but retaining the characteristics of the video game of yesteryear. There are other curious secrets in the Resident Evil saga that we can highlight, something we can see on a future occasion.
