This was such a good series. Shame on Valve for not continuing it, just like they do pretty much with all their games!

Yes, it really breaks my heart that they didn't follow it because of supposed leaks, the story would be great but very dark. Now I just have to enjoy Half Life Alyx so I hope I can share some screenshots.
I really don't believe in those reasons Valve shares. They seem to have an excuse every time. The same happens with the CS series and how badly it ended up without any interest to improve the experience of the players or release operations which are already created by the community. So sad to see all of this, especially since I am a CS player for 15 years now!!
The truth is that yes, they managed to get money from other places and left the developments, improvements and the fact of listening to the community very much abandoned. I also play CS and it's incredible how with each update the game is broken until they release a new patch.
