My god, last week has been busy as hell for me. I've been out of town more then I have been home which is the reason for my lack of posting. I just got home yesterday and had an awesome surprise waiting for me! My replacement MOBO had come in. So pushing the tiredness aside I got to work on building my first PC! In this video I talk about my experience, thoughts, issues I had with Newegg (Yes I was one of the ones who recieved a broken mobo), and struggles I faced! I hope you enjoy!

Building a PC is an experience that is never forgotten and gives perspective of why some devices are built the way they are. I am glad you were able to get another product from Newegg. My advice on shipped parts is to always record opening up computer parts that are shipped as proof that the item was delivered in its current state.

I've only built 2 computers for myself and assisted assembly on a 3rd one and every time my biggest concern was putting in the processor. One bent pin and its all over! It happened to me on my 2nd build but thankfully I was able realign the pins, it took me all night though, the computer worked!

Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations, I am glad everything worked out.

Oh yeah! It was a lesson learned and I did exactly that when the replacement one came in. I just got lucky that Newegg got called out when they did or I would have been out a mobo!

Building it was a fun experience and I really enjoyed! I'll definely be building more in the future. Funny enoough my grandfather heard that I built one and now wants me to take a look at his laptop to see if I can replace the RAM
