Hello and welcome to Week Two of Influence Crew Assignments! Week Two is a lot more interesting than Week One because there are more options, and also the Week Two outcomes depend in part on what was chosen in Week One. Crew members that choose the exact same options in Week Two may get different character traits because their Week One answers were different. Week Two assignments went live on December 23, and the team took a 2-week break for the holidays so I am just playing through them now. Week Three assignments should be released January 6. With that said let's jump into it!
Let's start off with the same Miner/Electrician that was featured last week. She chose Labor/Service in Week One and received the "Drive: Service" trait. This week she chooses None of the planets, and Yes she supports the Stay-Aboards faction. This results in the "Loyal" trait.
Next we have a Miner/Musician that chose Merit/Service in Week One. This week he goes with the planet Bia, and Yes he supports the Borehole Bunker faction. This results in the "Curious" Trait.
Below is a screencap from The Don in discord who mapped out some of the dialogue trees. For the Musician I was trying to get the "Creative" trait because I thought that would thematically fit for a Musician, but here we see that different choices from Week One can influence the traits gained in Week Two. Instead of "Creative" the Musician gained "Curious". I feel like the "Curious" trait would fit well with Knowledge or Technology jobs that help with research.
This time we have another Miner/Electrician that also chose Labor/Service in Week One. This week he chooses the planet Chronos, and No he does not support The Strand faction. This results in the "Adventurous" trait. Again we see that this is different from what The Don found in his playthrough.
Next up we have a Miner/Field Botanist that chose Labor/Survival in Week One. This week she chooses Dysis/Eos, and Yes she supports the Reactor Technologies faction. This results in the "Steadfast" trait, and this time we do match what The Don got.
Finally, we have a Merchant/Block Captain that chose Merit/Command in Week One. This week he chooses Dysis/Eos, and No he does not support the Dusk/Dawn party. This results in the "Ambitious" trait. If Influence is anything like Crusader Kings, the Ambitious trait will be amazing for the captain leading your crew of 5 members. That is why I am very happy to have the "Command" and "Ambitious" traits on a Block Captain, one of the Management jobs.
After choosing for these five characters I came across this table in the discord that shows what choices lead to what Traits, which is very helpful! Though it does not show what choices from Week One lead to what Factions, so there is still some uncertainty.
To wrap this up I would also like to mention that the secondary market for Crew Members has been heating up lately on OpenSea! A single person decided to buy 92 crew members just before the new year, which raised the floor price to the current 0.084 ETH.
