There's so many Yakuza games and only so much time for me to play games :( I'm trying to get started with Yakuza: Like a Dragon soon. After playing Judgment I got kinda hooked on these games.
Like a Dragon is a great entry point in my opinion. It has all of the Yakuza quirks, a great story, and a real fun combat system - even if it does deviate heavily from what Yakuza usually is.
I think Judgment was probably more like the other Yakuza games in terms of fighting. The Like a Dragon fighting system seems interesting even though it's not something I would normally go for.

Judgement is definitely a little different, it feels like a natural evolution of what Yakuza is, it's a lot smoother.
And yeah, if you enjoy turn based JRPGs you'll love Like a Dragon :)
