Hive Gaming Curation Report
Welcome to another installment of Hive Gaming Curation.
With these reports we provide transparency of the curated content in collaboration with @ocd and at the same time highlight the content we liked the most in our community. The rewards are used for the curators, moderators, and various other activities related to the Hive Gaming Community.
@youyowi is playing World of Goo and having a lot of fun lately. This is available for free on Netflix and that's how she got it. She talked about the mechanics of this game including the physics and attractive design. She describes the building blocks of this game, the Goos, which are used to build structures and bridges. Sometimes you have to build up rather than horizontally like a bridge. She considers it as a casual getaway for her and plays this when she doesn't feel like playing anything complex.
@acstriker used his phone as a steering wheel to play some racing games. He used the Monect app and talked about the layout of the controls. You can map the phone's gyroscope to the steering and this can make it a fun experience while playing these games. He tested it with multiple games like SEGA Rally, Daytona USA etc and shared his experiences. Have you tried using your phone as a virtual control?
@magicalex talked about his disappointment of playing Resident Evil 5 as a teen and like many others, he thought this was a significantly worse game than the previous Resident Evil 4. But he decided to give it another chances after so many years and he was having a bit more fun. Still, according to him, it was a huge letdown from the previous game but it was not too frustrating this time, especially if he considers it a different game unrelated to RE4. What are your thoughts about this? Do you think Resident Evil 5 was a terrible game or did our expectations after a brilliant RE4 make it a terrible game? Let us know in the comments below.
