I infiltrated Damascus Gate Prison to liberate Ali as I got news he's inside there but after taking down a lot of soldiers around and looking around for quite some times, I didn't find Ali but I heard from a hostage that Ali's been tortured by the jailer. So I tried looking hard this time.

I already took down countless armed guards on the roof but I still found more of them. When some of them were practicing shooting arrows, I attacked them from behind and there were more around who joined them to fight me and I fought them well.
I had to find and liberate Ali but I was confused where to go next so I started exploring the prison area again so I may find a way and I reached that hostage again who gave me news about Ali and this time I noticed there was a path right there that I didn't notice the other time.
I climbed up and found more chambers that were hidden from my sight all this time. There were more soldiers on guard but they were not so cautious so I got a chance to take them down in stealth easily. And then I found this door but I needed to find the key to unlock the door.

I started looking around for the key and I found more guards to take care of and I thought I'd find the key from them but I didn't and later I found some stairs that led be deep below and I found Ali getting tortured by the jailer there. I assassinated the jailer with pleasure.
After getting to know each other, Basim suggested they should get out of there but Ali said they cannot leave yet as he needs to get into the guards quarters to get news about the whereabouts of Al-Ghul.
We fought some guards on our way to the guards quarters and when we went inside there, more guards followed us and Basim tried to hold the door from inside when Ali was looking for something and he found what he needed after a moment.

Basim asked Ali to take it to Roshan who's with the rebels at the watermill stronghold and Basim stayed back to slow the guards. I died there once fighting the guards and then I escaped the area and hid in a haystack as I noticed that place was full of guards.
I escaped the prison but I had to decrease notoriety before regrouping with Ali as the guards remained on high alert so I started removing wanted posters around the city till I decreased the notoriety.
Then I was moving to regroup with Ali but I stopped seeing this shopkeeper who sells horses and I bought this black horse from him who is named Al-Atif and titled as The Comforter. I started riding Al-Atif to get to Ali.
I had to leave the city and get to the watermill who was waiting for me along with the rebels at the watermill on northern outskirts and I tried cinematic camera on my ride there that looked cool.
After a moment of riding Al-Atif and enjoying some amazing views around, I reached the location, the watermill and I noticed Ali from a far so I ran to him getting off the horse.
Ali was announcing something to the rebels when the rebels were cheering as Ali was freed after all. After reaching him, he gave me credit as I went for his aid at his darkest hour. Then Ali told Basim that he will pay a great tribute in a chronicle of their exploits but they must end it first.
They went to Roshan and Ali asked Roshan what she can procure for him for his help. Roshan said their means are limited but she'll listen to his needs later, that confused Ali.
Suddenly there came Beshi who was injured. Basim told Roshan that Beshi tracked down one of Al-Ghul's dig sites posing as a prisoner.
Beshi said the search turned up nothing and the guards tried to kill him. He cracked one's skill and fled. Beshi said he overheard the guards saying Al-Ghul will be at the Caravanserai so Roshan asked Basim to do the job alone when Ali suggested he'd join Basim taking more men.

How amazing it is to see how even the sword is impregnated with blood when attacking your enemies, I have never had the opportunity to some of the installments of this video game, but I know it's fun.
Yeah, the attention to detail in this game is incredible! The blood effects make combat feel even more intense. You should definitely try it and the other installments sometime.
