Hello @hivegaming community, I want to start sharing a guide on Silent Hill 2 Remake, as it is a very good game and has good graphics, so I hope you like it
The Prologue is the first part of our walkthrough of the Silent Hill 2 Remake story. Throughout this walkthrough I'll help you get through each area without giving away any plot spoilers. This includes the locations of collectibles, solutions to puzzles when you need them, and much more.
First of all, there are two collectibles in your inventory. These are the notes (technically they are NOT, they won't go into the "Notes" section but we'd rather leave them there) Mary's Photo and Mary's Letter. Now, before you continue, take a look at the road that goes into the woods.
Walk in that direction until you get the achievement/trophy There's No Turning Back. Now head back to the parking lot and approach the open car door to pick up the Map of South Vale.
Now look next to the white van, where the Toluca Lake sign is. There are some stairs you need to go down.
Continue along the path for a while, mentally noting the location of this site. It looks like a wonderful place to come on holiday with the family, have a picnic, prepare a barbecue... of human flesh, possibly. Anyway, you'll soon see a well with a red page floating in it. It's a save point, save points are basically that, red pages. Continue a little further and you'll see a cutscene after crossing the fence.
To continue, go down to the edge of the lake and turn left, leaving the water on your right. You'll soon see the exit to the cemetery. Keep going straight, without turning off (there's nothing interesting) until you see a red metal fence.
The gate is closed, but you can continue along a gate to the left, the gate of which is half open to subtly indicate that it's that way. Go around the building on the left and, in the alley, go in through the window. If you look at the back, you'll see a lit desk.
Inside you'll find the Spare Parts Workshop Key, which is used precisely to open the door in the red wall we just saw. Go through the door and continue to the end of the path, where you'll see a blocked tunnel.
Approach it and interact with the planks to find Glimpse #1, the first in a series of new collectibles. Now continue to the right, down the only path possible. It won't be long before you see a cutscene and reach the Streets of Silent Hill.
