I got to hand it to miHoYo these new characters are original. Ororon looks like one of those hermits that haunt a mountain and lives in a cave, speaking in riddles to anybody that encounters him. But nope he's a kid with an overprotective drunkard for a grammy. And of course you have Chasca who is a blood elf straight out of WarCraft and dressed in one of their western skin sets. Definitely not a normal Genshin look.
As for abilities well Ororon might be very reliable for small vertical exploration. His jump is far higher than even the best jumpers from the past. Unfortunately his skill and Burst don't quite outcompete other Electro characters since we have a few really good ones. Also if we're talking vertical abilities Chasca just became MVP. Previously we had a flyer in Wanderer but Wanderer isn't really all that powerful. Meanwhile Chasca is resistant to getting thrown around while in the air and her basic attack up there incorporates other elements so she's got built in reactions. It could translate to big damage.
As for the older characters well Lyney is pretty good too. Back when he first released he quickly became the new DPS on the block. Just use his skill and Burst to create cats and then use your Charged Shots to hit them for explosive damage. Meanwhile Sucrose might have lost some shine to her after all these years but she's still a pretty good Anemo character thanks to the large coverage area for her skill and Burst. Anemo has always been useful in this game because its main function is to weaken enemies to your other teammates.
I would say this banner is shaping up to be pretty good but that may just be my bias thanks to how well my own gacha pulls went. Check out the video to see what I mean.
