Is that still a relevant meme? Well anyway we had 5 cameos on Day 1 of Lantern Rite. Then nothing on Day 2 but we knew there were still 13 more to go.
All 13 of them released on the last day along with not just 1 new part of the story but 2 for a total of about 2 hours of cutscenes basically Days 1 and 2 combined.
So last time put up that first hour which was the main story. This video is an epilogue and then those 13 cameos. That said it was a good epilogue. They even put out a brand new Peking Opera song which was interesting because I'm not a big fan of opera in general let alone Peking Opera but somehow this one resonated. I'm going to guess it's due to the good story that it related to. So there's that. Plus there's some pretty cute banter and also solid confirmation of a couple which is probably the most we've ever gotten from this game. There's so much clear flirting in the scene which was actually teased back on Day 2.
It's just unfortunate that basically none of it was voiced in English. That meant of all the witty banter and cute scenes I just mentioned, it's basically just me talking to myself lol. Or you can just go find the Chinese playthrough of it from someone. They basically all played in a different language. (Btw all together Lantern Rite was missing 1124 lines of dialogue. That's so much for this little amateur voice actor to get through in just a week's time lol. I'm exhausted!)
