That's what I call petty

I get where they were going with this but it doesn't quite line up with the previously established lore. We had heard that the tribes had a falling out around 500 years ago and that's why the exiled person, Tenoch had to come and reunite them. However it was never stated that the tribes were already splintered even earlier or that there would be other events these resentful tribes could peacefully hold together, then stop, then try to start up again based on just one guy's pleas. It just feels very inconsistent if that's all that was going on.

I've been suggesting that there's some kind of malevolent entity that caused it for its own benefit since the purpose of this particular event was to create a purer form of the very thing that was suppressing it. The pieces are even there in the event, just they were never capitalized. For example there was this idea that the crystals were influencing conflict among the people and in today's episode the guy who is asking for the crystals stated that they were created through conflict. So why isn't that being discussed and instead it's just people being mean to each other on their own?

Anyway there was something else brought up today that suprisingly also works towards the musezi thing but in its own way. In the established lore we've been told that the dead can't maintain their consciousness for very long. They'll degrade until they become nothing and the only way to prevent that is to quickly get into the Ley Lines which can properly store the memories that make up said consciousness. That sounds like a form of decay right, the break down of a person's consciousness? The musezi's thing is that it charms the bodies of the deceased to prevent it from decaying. Right now the dead character in this story has been a wandering consciousness for hundreds of years. That's not possible unless something was able to prevent its consciousness from degrading. It just so happens that at the end of the major story of the region, someone forced spirits into the Ley Lines that were afflicted with the curse of immortality. I'd imagine that might help prevent degradation. But so far it hasn't been explained that way so we'll have to see on the final day if that's what'll happen.
