We just saw an epic conclusion to the Tour de Inferno. A new Overlord has been crowned but the culprits behind the attempted disaster got away. You'd think we should be hot on their trail right?
Nope it's time to open up a diner! Sure why not.
I do respect these open ended conclusions because it means miHoYo can bring them back for new stories later on. Perlman for example was first introduced in Chapter 1 and had a trial in Chapter 3 that went awry when he was able to hijack their blimp and escape to the Outer Ring. We now have him in custody again but he's unconscious so that story is still dangling on the hook. When will we find out about the conspiracy going on in New Eridu? Will those same forces enlist Mors and Lucius for their ends? Will that be their swan song as they get played by bigger fish or are they going to outsmart them like Perlman did? I would imagine Mors won't and he might end up mutating as well but Lucius could be with us for the long haul.
Anyway enough of the intrigue. It's time to get back to daily life and that means helping to rebuild the old run down diner. Personally I'm not that interested in this event. It feels like filler. Goofy filler with fun dialogue but still filler. I am glad there aren't any tv mazes for it either. Just good old fashioned ass kicking.... and also breaking boxes that somehow auto collects the goods inside. Anyway today is actually Day 3 of this event but the episode I'm putting out is from Day 1. I'm really behind lol
