Hi Guys,
As mentioned in my previous post about assassins creed, I'm now back again with another new game and its gameplay. This post is about the introduction of that game including the scenes where I completed my first two missions.
As you have noticed from the title, the new game is "FAR CRY 2". Though it’s a game that was released back in 2008 in the market, it’s a new experience for me. And I believe that this game has one of the best storylines. And I love following a story to its end. I'll do the same with this one too and my request is that you also join me in my quest to complete this new journey.
The gameplay begins with me in a jeep and the driver introducing me to the country while taking me to my restroom. He was explaining the current situation in their country. You'll find a better explanation in the gameplay video. It will also help you to understand the story in a better way.
There were militia troops with heavy weapons everywhere including checkpoints on every turning and bridge. My driver offered them to bring WINE as a bribe to get past the checkpoints.
After passing a long way, we arrived at the hotel of PALA which was the only hotel left in the city. But, all of a sudden I blacked out and fainted on the spot.
After waking up I found myself in a room lying on the floor. It was a mafia boss who captured me. There was a larger conversation with him. I won't add any info on that here, it contains some of the important information essential to the game. It'll be better if you watch and listen to the conversation by yourself. This will help you to feel the real vibe.
Then there was a sudden attack on the hotel. There was firing outside, RPGs, grenades, and bullets were ripping the place apart. I found a pistol which was my only weapon with some limited bullets and also my only chance to escape from the hotel. You'll see more in the gameplay video:
I was able to escape the "Cease-Fire Zone." I actually passed out and was helped by other members of that gang to escape. There I found that mafia boss, now that they saved my life, I owed them and agreed to work with them. Then I was told to choose my weapon and given my first mission.
- Meeting with the boos and packing up meds and weapons.
The mission was to find a safe out that is ceased by the enemy soldiers. I needed to kill those two guards and get out property back. And in future, I'll be living there. But to do that I needed a car to travel around. There was one damaged car. So, I fixed it and made it mine.
Then I started my journey towards the location shown on my tracker device. Was my mission successful?
After that, I was given a mission to survey an enemy camp and transfer the information. After doing that successfully, I was ordered to kill them. There I found some guns that I collected. I also found some medicine that can heal my health.
- Found the boxes and survey completed.
- Attacking the base to gain control of it. 1v5 frontline shoot-out.
I also got myself infected by malaria at the place. It was really tough to control my character in this situation. Everything was becoming fuzzy. Now, was I able to find proper medical treatment for myself or continue my mission in that situation? Watch the gameplay video to find more.
- Rescued the captive from the camp.
- Seeing everything fuzzy because of Malaria.
I uploaded the video on my youtube channel and sharing it below from there. I normally use OBS Studio to record my gameplay videos. As I was saying from the beginning that this recorder was giving me a lot of frame drop issues in the recording and the video quality was extremely low in the action parts. That I got a suggestion from someone who told me to use the Xbox recorder to record my games to avoid this issue. In this video, I did that and was able to successfully record the gameplay with no frame drops. But, it was lagging a little bit.
Here's the gameplay video:
I hope that you liked both my explanations and gameplay. Though there was a lot more to add, like driving through the jungle, using the med kits, finding diamond boxes etc. I wanted you to watch the original gameplay itself and get the real fun of the adventure of this game's story. I'll be back soon with further missions as soon as possible. Till then stay tuned.
Your explanation is good. This makes me want to try the game. I will install it tonight and try it...
Hey, glad my post was able to inspire you. I'm sure you'll love it.
And to think that before this type of games made us have to make sure we met all the requirements, or else analyze what we could lower in the configuration in order to sacrifice some quality but that the game could run smoothly.
I liked Crysis, the thing is that this game always wanted to draw attention to extremely demanding requirements for the time. I was able to play it, but obviously not to the max.
Another one that really grabbed me because of the stories and the cinematic quality was Call of Duty, well I really like FPS games. But I haven't played for several years, due to work.
Right now I'm playing Clash of Clans with my mobile and I teach tips, tricks and news.
Hey, thanks for your comment. Yes, I agree that the facility to increase or decrease the graphics of certain parts of the game helps to play the game smoothly.
It really shows that this video game has a very interesting story, something that we usually don't see in shooting video games, it's great how you tell us about it and describe certain situations. Great post friend!
It caught my attention, maybe I'll soon dare to play a game of this saga!
That's why I love story-based games. They give you the feeling of experiencing the game in real including the thrill of fighting. Glad you liked it.
Thank you for the comment.

What surprised me about this game was the fact that it was inspired by real events, I can't imagine how hellish the experience must have been for everyone involved, especially the innocent people, I don't think the game portrayed half as what really should have been.
Pretty interesting all in all, the kind of stuff that inspires you to read about it, you learn something new haha.
Yes, some parts of it show the real situation of some parts of Africa. Like, terrorism, foreign militia soldiers looting the country, chaos and poverty etc. There's also a lot to learn from these stories too.
It looks like a decent game despite being from 2008. Sorry, I did not watch the whole video as it is long. 😊
I've played some shooting with mission games before but this is the first time I've encountered a game where the player gets sick. 😊
!1UP
I suggest you play the game or at least watch half of the gameplay. Not only a player can get sick, there are many more things that can happen.
Like, I was well as long as I was on the clear road. But, as soon as I entered the bushes, I got bitten by mosquitos and became ill. You can even hear the mosquitos buzzing in some places and can avoid those areas to be safe.
This was my first time and wasn't aware of this trick to keep myself safe.
I have a history of being addicted to games so I would rather just watch it. 😁
Well, I remember you mentioning this in my two previous posts. I hope you'll enjoy the video too. 😍
