☢️Can You Take the Fumes?☢️

The relentless cycle of raiding, looting, and enslavement has become a way of life for the hobgoblins of the Drybone Anarchists. Their constant plunder brings wealth and a steady flow of slaves, and their battle scars make for fine tales in the taverns of Stonetown. Yet the alliance with the Chaos Empire has sparked tension throughout the anarchists. Many resent the empire’s oversight and the order that it forces down their throats. At first, the will of the people of Praetoria was broken, and they hardly put up a fight. Most of the anarchists’ hobgoblins figured concessions could be made for such easy pickings. But lately, they’ve encountered more and more resistance… and more than a few additional scars.

Drybone Hobgoblin isn't my favorite new reward card art-wise, but it was the first to be useful in battle because it has both the reach and immunity abilities from level one. The Forgotten One is happy to have some help during those poisonous fumes battles. The Forgotten One does some pretty nasty melee damage with 7 hit points if at MAX level and summoned with Tarsa, but now he's getting another 3 hit points in with my level 5 Drybone Hobgoblin from behind. I expect we'll see these two used together anytime we see the gas.

It didn't take me long to level Drybone Hobgoblin up to level 5 because I've focused most of my Glint purchases on common cards, but it will take 400 cards to get him to MAX level so it will probably take a few months to get there. He'll be instrumental when he gets up to level 8 and gains the ability to shatter shields. Since he only uses 4 mana he'll also be useful in Little League battles. It's not a bad card with three abilities and decent reach damage for only 4 mana.

I didn't want to put my precious immunity cards out front where they would take some melee, ranged, or magic attack from my enemy so I put out the Exploding Rats first. They wiped out their first card and the blast took out the shields of their ants, but it didn't matter because The Forgotten One's melee attacks are so strong and would've pierced through their shields anyway. I put a martyr card between The Forgotten One and Drybone Hobgoblin so it would boost their stats after a few rounds of sucking on that nasty gas, but most of my cards were at MAX power so I probably would've won this fight simply by having better cards, but it's still good to have a strategy and purpose for every card. So what about you? What new Rebellion reward card have you found most useful so far? Are you going for the common cards first like me or are you trying your luck and going for those expensive Epic and Legendary cards?
