Hello good afternoon to all players of this platform that are part of the #HiveGaming community today I want to talk about my review of Turmoil a video game in which you take the role of a businessman seeking to dominate the oil industry in the nineteenth century.
Hola buenas tardes a todos los jugadores de esta plataforma que son parte de la comunidad Hive Gaming el día de hoy quiero hablarles de mi reseña sobre Turmoil un videojuego en el que tomaras el papel de un empresario en busca de dominar la industria petrolera en el siglo XIX.
Plot
Set in the 19th century, this title gives us the choice between 4 characters: Blanche, Daisy, Joshua and Ricardo; whose desire is only one in common: to extract oil and make a lot of money with it. Once the character is chosen, we will have to rent the exploitation rights of a land and start our way as oil tycoons.
Argumento
Ambientado en el siglo XIX, este título nos da a elegir entre 4 personajes: Blanche, Daisy, Joshua y Ricardo; cuyo deseo solo es uno en común: Extraer petróleo y hacer mucho dinero con ello. Una vez elegido el personaje, tendremos que alquilar los derechos de explotación de una tierra y empezar nuestro camino como magnates del petróleo.
Gameplay
Most of the things we can do in the game will be by clicking on the buildings or constructions we can create. We also have keyboard shortcuts for ease of use.
At the beginning there will be few buildings in the town like “The Town Hall”, in which you can do the paperwork and business to rent the land to be exploited the following year.
Jugabilidad
La mayoría de las cosas que podemos hacer en el juego serán haciendo clic en los edificios o construcciones que podemos crear. También contamos con atajos en el teclado para más facilidad.
Al comenzar habrá pocos edificios en el pueblo como "La Alcaldía", en la cual podrás hacer los debidos papeleos y negocios para alquilar la tierra que se explotará el siguiente año.
Once the land is rented, we will talk to “Jill” to start the journey. Once on the land, we will have to start the game by sending a “Zahori” to explore the ground and tell us where to place the oil platform.
When it is deployed, we will have to start digging until we find the oil field. The next thing will be to buy a cart to load the oil and sell it to the company.
Ya alquilada la tierra, hablaremos con "Jill" para empezar el viaje. Una vez en el terreno, tendremos que empezar la partida enviando a un "Zahorí" para que explore en el suelo y nos indique dónde debemos colocar la plataforma petrolífera.
Cuando esté desplegada, tendremos que empezar a cavar hasta que encontremos el yacimiento de petróleo. Lo siguiente será comprar una carreta para que cargue el petróleo y lo venda en la compañía.
Something we must be very attentive to is the purchase price of oil, as it is quite fluctuating, it reminded me of working with Cryptocurrencies or the stock market. We should always try to sell above $0.85 for the whole trip to be productive, but it is best to wait until it is valued at $1.20 to get the most out of it.
If the value of the oil falls too much, it will be enough to store it in the silos until it returns to a reasonable price.
Algo de lo que debemos estar muy atentos es el precio de compra del petróleo, ya que es bastante fluctuante, me recordó a trabajar con Criptomonedas o la bolsa de valores. Debemos tratar de vender siempre por encima de los $0.85 para que todo el viaje sea productivo, pero lo mejor es esperar a que esté valorado en $1.20 para sacarle mayor provecho.

The rest of this video game consists of improving our equipment in the different buildings that are built in the town, such as “The Stable”, “The Workshop”, “The Tavern”, and “The Factory” to be able to exploit the oil more efficiently.
El resto de este videojuego consiste en ir mejorando nuestro equipo en los diferentes edificios que se construyen en el pueblo, como son "El Establo", "El Taller", "La Taberna", Y "La Fábrica" para poder explotar el petróleo de manera más eficiente.
Upgrades System
Throughout our journey we will be able to opt for improvements such as:
- Improve the size of the wagons.
- Improve the speed of the horses.
- Improve the drills.
- Enlarge the storage silos.
- Improve the detection of deposits.
And many others that are quite entertaining to achieve, making the game always have something more to reach.
Sistema de Mejoras
A lo largo de nuestra travesía podremos optar por mejoras tales como:
- Mejorar el tamaño de las carretas.
- Mejorar la velocidad de los caballos.
- Mejorar los taladros.
- Agrandar los silos de almacenamiento.
- Mejorar la detección de los yacimientos.
Y muchas otras más que son bastante entretenidas de conseguir, haciendo esto que el juego siempre tenga algo más que lograr.
Main Goal
The game will be won when we have more than 50% of the town's shares, since every time we finish the year of oil extraction, the Mayor will put a small percentage of the shares up for auction.
As a result, the player who has more than 50% will be the next owner of the town and will win.
Objetivo Principal
La partida se ganará cuando tengamos más del 50% de las acciones del pueblo, ya que cada vez que terminamos el año de extracción de petróleo, el Alcalde pondrá en subasta un pequeño porcentaje de las acciones.
Resultando así en que el jugador que tenga más del 50 % será el próximo dueño del pueblo y ganará.
Graphics
The graphics are extremely simple, but they have that appeal that stood out in the flash games of the early 2000s. Everything is drawn to look like a classic board game like “Guess Who”.
It accomplishes quite well what it tries to do, actions like building, searching, collecting and digging are well animated.
Gráficos
Los gráficos son sumamente sencillos, pero tienen ese atractivo que destacaba en los juegos flash de principios del año 2000. Todo está dibujado como para que parezca un clásico juego de mesa como "Adivina Quién"

Personal Rating
It is a game that will entertain you, you will always want to upgrade all your tools and machines and be the one who has the lead in terms of income.
Although it gets a bit repetitive after a while, this does not detract from the game, as it is designed so that there is always something new to keep an eye on, such as rocks or gas deposits.
It is quite worth trying it and finish, even if it is the first level, getting 50% of the actions of the people, it is certainly a relaxing and fun game.
Valoración Personal
Es un juego que te va a entretener, siempre querrás mejorar todas tus herramientas y máquinas y ser el que tenga la delantera en cuanto a los ingresos se trata.
Si bien se vuelve algo repetitivo después de un tiempo, esto no le termina restando nada, ya que está diseñado para que siempre surja algo nuevo de lo que estar pendiente como las rocas o los yacimientos de gas.
Vale bastante la pena probarlo y terminar, aunque sea el primer nivel, consiguiendo el 50% de las acciones del pueblo, sin duda es un juego relajante y divertido.
