Now that I have already finished Red Dead Redemption, I have to move on to Undead Nightmare. 🧟 On a light note on the original game, The end of the story was soooooo satisfying yet, I wished it did not end that way, haha. 🥲 I might be throwing a spoiler here.
Going back to Undead Nightmare, it started with a cutscene in Beecher’s Hope, Marston’s home. Everyone was turned into an undead except for John. It left him wondering what caused this weird behavior.
And so, the adventure began.
So this is how underwear looked like 200 years ago.
Ahhh~ 😩 it felt creepy this time. The towns were quiet, dark, and foggy. I had to always look my back!😱 If I heard something rustling or growling, I knew it was an undead.
One of the main goals of this game is to save every town by eliminating the undead. Fires are effective but slow… So I prefer a gun. But the navigation sucks… The character moves weirdly.😟
The undead cannot climb ha! 😌 So my strategy was to look for ladders or stacked boxes to climb to canopies.
For example, in Plain View, this tower has a ladder on the side but it was like, camouflaged because of the color so I had to act fast before the undead grabbed me.
Aside from undead, I had encountered mythical creatures like Sasquatch and horse in flame. Very cool addition.
I thought to myself... wait! Sasquatch sasquatch...
I know I heard it before somewhere. It was like a rewind in my head, haha.😆 When I was still a kid, I watched this documentary series on HBO or some foreign channel about a group of scientists or hunters looking for a sasquatch in a big forest. I was really hoping that they find one, but nah... I think Sasqaucth is not real or just a mistaken big bear.
I had stuck moments in the game. For example, there was no quest or challenge to be completed. And so, what I do is just roam around towns to see if something would trigger new missions.
I Feel like I have to rank up or something to see “question marks” on the map. Ahh...😩 I was getting bored so I just hop on the horse and shoot crowds of undead on the road.
It was a repetitive task at this point so I had to Google to find some same scenarios. I always got answers from 2010, haha. Old game but still got comments under the post. 😊
Apparently, I already finished the main mission- saving all the towns, but then the freak Seth took the magical mask and resurrected all undead again. I got stuck at 69% completion of the game so I guess the remaining ones are the “challenges” and “journals”.
Whuaaatt.. My character turned into an undead. Am I on the other side now? Haha. So this John Marston version is still friends with humans but looked like none of them.
Though short, it was a nice extension of the game!
Thanks for reading! 🥰

Huh I haven't heard of this game before. The visuals gives red dead redemption vibes with zombie mod haha.
By the way try tomb raider 2013. I think you will like it.

Ah it all makes sense now 😂
The truth is that I dream of playing this game....
Heheh, it's a nice thriller game. I just don't play it at late night. 😄
Is Undead Nightmare an individual game? or just a DLC of Red Dead Redemption? I'm looking forward to try Red Dead Redemption as it's on PC now.
It's a DLC, like a standalone story. Ahhh you will love RDR! I hope you download it. 😄
Ahh, ok.
Looks like a fun but scary game, ganda laruan to kapag gabi, mapapatalon ka sa gulat. Pero sanay kana ata no? Lol
Whaha yeah,a lot of jumpscare with matching spine chilling BGM.No, not sanay so I play in daylight. 😆
